I built CSSForge.com over the weekend, using Genesis, as a new outlet for me to write about web design and development. I built it on the Reflex for Genesis blank template that I created.
It's my first (production) mobile responsive site, too!
I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions.
(Also, if anyone is interested in guest writing, tweet me at @JonBellah)

January 21, 2013 at 11:57 am #13510Jon BellahMemberThank you, so much! That means a lot. And don't worry, it was a long weekend of working on it... one that I doubt my girlfriend will let me do again anytime soon. Haha

January 21, 2013 at 1:04 pm #13527AnitaKeymasterI love it. You didn't make me feel horrible at all {{ wink wink @wp-guy }} LOL! Tell your girlfriend I said thank you for letting you play over the weekend! I don't code so I am always looking for new themes and theme structures. Now, is that using Genesis 1.9? And, since you shared your GitHub, can we try it out? I just subscribed also. Looking forward to reading your blogs. I also added it to my RSS Feed in Outlook.

January 21, 2013 at 1:05 pm #13528AnitaKeymasterOh, and last month I was looking everywhere for a Sticky Footer code and you have it on your new website. I am going to try that out on the Stretch theme.

January 21, 2013 at 1:13 pm #13532Jon BellahMemberThank you! It is running on Genesis 1.9, which is also what Reflex is built for. And I would love for you to try it out!
Also, thank you for subscribing. I really appreciate it.

January 22, 2013 at 7:14 am #13690AnitaKeymasterJon, I installed it but it doesn't look like what you shared above. It just looks like a shell of some sort. I don't see widget positions such as what you have there. Is this a skeleton that we build off of?

January 22, 2013 at 9:50 am #13711Jon BellahMemberHey, yeah that's a blank theme that I use as a jumping off point for developing stuff with Genesis. The theme for CSS Forge isn't available for download (yet... I'm considering it).

January 22, 2013 at 4:47 pm #13883AnitaKeymasterThat explains it. Now I feel horrible 🙁 Shoot! Gotta go back to the pre-mades.

January 23, 2013 at 4:39 pm #14172Jon BellahMemberAh, don't feel horrible. To each their own! I, personally, find it harder to work with premades than blank templates.
