I am currently using an old slider that is not responsive and I would like to choose from the 3 best WordPress sliders.
Could somebody please suggest?
May 17, 2015 at 3:58 pm #152505MoodyRivieraMemberLots of sliders out there...but I've only come across one slider that I liked, and that was the Soliloquy slider. There's a free version and a paid version. It's responsive, easy to use, and is updated frequently.

I also own Soliloquy.
May 18, 2015 at 8:52 pm #152646GordyMemberThanks everyone. I checked Soliloquy and Easing slider and discovered that I need addon to use them as a carousel slider.
May be what I should have asked for is a Carousel slider because I need it on the home page and would like to link the featured contents to the posts. I am currently using Dynamic Content Gallery, but it is not responsive.
Does anyone has a good suggestion for a replacement. I want to use it on the home page of this site : http://afroscandic.com/

Or a premium plugin like this one http://dev7studios.com/products/caroufredsel-wordpress-plugin/
May 19, 2015 at 4:30 am #152725SusanModeratorSoliloquy has a carousel slider addon (which is no additional cost if you own the premium version).
@braddalton - thanks for the recommendation on Easing slider - I haven't heard of that one before 🙂May 20, 2015 at 1:34 pm #152949GordyMember@braddalton, I tried bxslider but the short code worked only on post and pages but, not on homepage.
What can I do to use it on the homepage?

This seems to be an "Advanced" add-on for Soliloquy @ $99 (please correct me if I'm wrong)
Choose your next site design from over 350 Genesis themes.

With News Pro I found that it caused the content below the slides to 'jump'. That can be solved with some CSS tweaks but all in all I found it too much bother and I have now opted for Meta Slider for simple slideshows. No problems and can do practically everything Soliloquy can do.
