Hello - I want to edit the code for the header. I want to use an image in the header but I don't want to use a background image to do it. When you use a background image it does not position itself properly in the responsive design. I was just going "hard code" an image src in the title-area div. What can i find that file? thanks!
<div id="header"> <div class="wrap"> <div id="title-area"> <strong><p id="title"><a href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/" title="360 Public Relations"><img src="XXXX"></a></p></strong> </div> <!-- end #title-area --> <div class="widget-area"> <div id="nav_menu-2" class="widget widget_nav_menu"> <div class="widget-wrap"> <div class="menu-main-container"> <ul id="menu-main" class="menu genesis-nav-menu"> <li id="menu-item-61" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-61"><a title="360PR Team – Boston, New York" href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/360pr-team/">Who We Are</a></li> <li id="menu-item-58" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-58"><a title="PR and Digital Practices" href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/pr-marketing-social-media-services/">What We Do</a></li> <li id="menu-item-60" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-60"><a title="360PR Clients & Case Studies" href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/360pr-clients/">Our Circle</a></li> <li id="menu-item-59" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-59"><a title="PR & Social Media Awards" href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/public-relations-awards/">Awards</a></li> <li id="menu-item-69" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-69"><a href="http://360publicrelations.com/new/contact/">Contact Us</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div><!-- end .widget-area --> </div><!-- end .wrap --> </div><!--end #header-->

July 27, 2013 at 5:42 am #52761krbishopMemberThank you. I don't want it to be a background image. I need the image to actually be in the HTML code. There are some changes I plan on making and having it as background image will not work. How can I edit the actual header HTML? thank you
July 27, 2013 at 5:49 am #52764Nile FloresMemberWhy? You are aware for SEO, you might want to take advantage of using the CSS rather than the HTML code. It DOES the same thing.
You will want to use the #header #title a , #header #title a:hover in your style.css. If you don't want a background for your header... adjust the css for background: none;
