Hi Alexander, you could have asked on my contact form. Thanks for admiring it. It's called the Easy Heads Up Bar and it's free (http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-heads-up-bar). It's similar to the Hellobar. I love it. You can place one on the home page and then have a different one on the inside pages. It has a timer too. You can schedule the bars so the turn on and off.

AnitaKeymasterWhat ever was in the Minify, has removed all of the coding from your website. I am at a loss as to how they created your theme. Let me see if someone else can help us. I am sending out a tweet. In the meantime, add that plugin back.

AnitaKeymasterFor some reason the Minify is still on and is blocking you code so I can get any code to work using Firebug. Can you clear the cache settings?
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterOk, so down below in the other themes on that page do you see one that says Genesis with a "G" on it. It you have a plugin for Cache or the Minify is in a Cache plugin - deactivate that.

AnitaKeymasterLooking at your code it's hard to tell if it's a Genesis Child Theme. I still see the Minify active. When you go to Appearance > Themes do you see Genesis in your theme area?

AnitaKeymasterWhich theme are you using? Please deactivate the Minify setting/plugin so we can take a look.

AnitaKeymasterGreat, you're welcome. I will close this now.

AnitaKeymasterHi Viv:
For the body, look for this - add the background image to YOUR code:
body.home { background: url("images/bg-home.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; }
For the Read More, look for this - add the background image to YOUR code:
#home-top .more-link, #home-bottom .more-link { background: url("images/btn-more-bg.png") repeat-x scroll center top transparent; border-left: 1px solid #D4DBE1; border-right: 1px solid #D4DBE1; display: block; margin: 10px 0 0; padding: 5px 0; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: 1px 1px #FFFFFF; width: 130px; }
Look for these - change all three of these areas from #FFFFFF to #DBDEE4
#home-bottom .home-bottom-1
and
#home-bottom .home-bottom-2
and
#home-bottom .home-bottom-3

AnitaKeymaster* Remove the image from Appearance > Header.
* Resize your image to1060px1200px by 120px.
* Upload the image via the Media area
* Copy the URL of the image.
* Go to Appearance > Editor and look for this:#header { background: url("images/header.png") repeat-y scroll center center #090909; margin: 0 auto; min-height: 120px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%; }
Replace the header.png with your own image URL (the one you copied).

AnitaKeymasterSo do you want the title and text? Or you want to remove it? Or did you remove the check mark but it still shows up on iPhone and Samsung s4?

AnitaKeymasterThis plugin has it's own support area on WordPress.org - http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/simple-urls. You should submit this there.

AnitaKeymasterGo to Genesis > Theme Settings you can turn on Comments for Pages. For the Post info, try Brad Dalton's code:

AnitaKeymasterI am not sure what you mean. Do you want to replace the post info (date, by, comments) with something else?
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterIf you have any difficulties using Custom Post Types, there is a plugin called WP Property that might help you - http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-property/screenshots/.

AnitaKeymasterSorry I had stepped away and then shut down for the night. I see you resolved your issue. I will close this now.

AnitaKeymasterYou can use an FTP Program like Filezilla or go to you hosting account's File Manager. Browse to your child theme folder on yourhosting account and upload the functions.php file from your desktop. Overwrite what's there.

AnitaKeymasterIt's okay, we all have these little lapses! LOL

AnitaKeymasterIn your Genesis > Theme Settings - look for logo - change it to an Image instead of Text.

AnitaKeymasterUse FTP and copy the original functions file over to your child theme.

June 29, 2013 at 4:57 pm in reply to: How To Insert Slider Widget in New Genesis 2.0 Child Starter Theme #48429AnitaKeymasterThe hooks inside the snippets are for PRE-2.0. The link I shared - shows the new hooks. I don't work for SP so I cannot say if they will update the old snippets or create new ones based on 2.0.
