Please note this issue was address here back in January - http://www.studiopress.community/topic/how-do-i-get-blog-to-show-parts-in-bold-image-written-by/. Also, you are using an older version of Lifestyle. It might be better to update to the current theme.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this:
.menu-primary li a:active, .menu-primary li a:hover, .menu-primary li:hover a, .menu-primary .current_page_item a, .menu-primary .current-cat a, .menu-primary .current-menu-item a { background-color: #EEEEEE; color: #333333; }
Remove the background color - and change the #333333 to maybe #FFFFFF.

AnitaKeymasterYes, Genesis Simple Hooks is working just fine with all versions for me.

AnitaKeymasterJenny, the blog page you have there was created using the Blog Template. As such, those settings are found in the Genesis theme settings under Content Archives. You need to set that to how you want that page to behave.

AnitaKeymasterJust paste that at the bottom of the style.css file and save it.

AnitaKeymasterJenny, please share a link to your site. It's very difficult to assist working in the blind this way. I (we) really need to see what you have going on there.

AnitaKeymasterWatch that because if they are generating an overwhelming amount of clicks, you can get deactivated for that too! Just be careful!

AnitaKeymasterLooks good. On this page you still have "lorem" - http://catherine4ga.org/campaign-trail/. I would probably remove that as a visitor may not consider this to be the "real" or completed website for her.
It's not clear what she's running for? I have to look at the tiny text next to her picture in the middle widget area and in the first widget at the bottom. I would include the position she's running for in the Description under "Catherine4GA". That needs to be well positioned.
Because older persons may visit the website, I would make the text a bit larger on all areas of the site. Or add a plugin that provides for text enlargement.
And lastly, although you have completed the site - I share this - in my opinion, since more people are going "mobile" - I would consider using a mobile responsive theme for future political websites. This way they can get the full experience of the political website.

AnitaKeymasterYou wrote above, "any suggestions" so I thought that meant suggestions. I've read the guidelines and have had clients who were deactivated for violations. I was merely pointing that out from all the ad sizes you had that were not "link" based. But you wrote "any suggestions" and I gave my suggestions. You don't have to take them.

AnitaKeymasterFirst, for your slider, change this setting from 1060px to 1040px. This will remove the added white space around the slider.
.wrap { margin: 0 auto; width: 1060px; }
The reason why your header will not respond "any further" is because it's try to squeeze your header and your content below it, into the same mobile visual space. If you would like for me to take a look at your site and its mobility, I am available for freelance work, just send me an email on my website.

AnitaKeymasterYou can go into your MySql database and export the listing that way. You should have some experience when doing that, but if you need help, I can show you how to do it. Just send me an email.

AnitaKeymasterGoogle only allows three ads per page. You have five on the home page alone. You should remove two of them. On the inside pages you have four, so you need to remove one. Google may deactivate your account for violating policy.
Unless you like "blue" I would color your Google ads to a color that you are using in the theme so they aren't so noticeable.

AnitaKeymasterPlease post a link to your website. If you have placed a Featured Post widget in the widget area - you need to configure the widget to show the full content.
