You probably should look at membership plugins to see what meets your needs as there are so many that do so many things. Here's a blog post that might help you from WPForms.

January 18, 2020 at 5:26 pm in reply to: How to Add Extra (new) Widgets to Navigation Pro Theme’s Footer #496019AnitaKeymasterThat's from 2013 and almost 7 years old. Tip: always look for more recent dates on the tutorials.
Navigation Pro has been coded completely different than the traditional StudioPress themes. The one Footer Widget has been wrapped with the other two widget areas. I tried to widen that up on a demo to use Genesis Widget Column Classes plugin, but that doesn't work. So, we'll let this sit here for someone to see if they are able to "re-configure" that area because that's what's needed in Navigation Pro.

AnitaKeymasterHi @christineleiser what do you mean by:
I'd like a little bit more elegance than just having the meta widget option
If you already have them signing up as Contributor, what more are you looking for? A way to offer a paid/premium membership down the road?

January 18, 2020 at 10:22 am in reply to: How to Add Extra (new) Widgets to Navigation Pro Theme’s Footer #496006AnitaKeymasterYou may not receive an immediate response to this because Navigation Pro is a new theme as of a few days ago.
I found a website which explains that, If I follow these steps I indeed see them in the widgets section of wordpress, but they are not showing on the website.
What website are you looking at that explains it?

AnitaKeymasterIf you go to add a
New Page
, then click the "G" top right corner, in the page layouts, you do not see thecontent-sidebar
layout. It's alayout
not atemplate.

AnitaKeymasterYou have not added the URL for the Register for Free. Replace the pound sign (#) with the URL of the page the "click" leads them to.
<a class="button" href="#">REGISTER FOR FREE</a>

AnitaKeymasterYou need more than CSS. The reason why the border will not work is because the title and content is all inside the
wrap
. You would need a function to pull the title out by itself. And then thetitle text
and themore
from this category` would need to have their own class so their backgrounds would have their own background color. You might get faster help contacting Restored 316 for help with that since that's a third party theme and they provide support and help for their own themes. She has a Facebook group too.

AnitaKeymaster@chafner the sidebar is available already - https://demo.studiopress.com/genesis-sample/layouts/content-sidebar/.

AnitaKeymasterFor the home page you use the full width layout. For the inner pages you would use the Content-Sidebar layout. There is not need to use Genesis Simple Sidebars.

AnitaKeymasterDid you add any new functions to your website? Looks like you may have tried to modify your code and that's why it's happening.

January 16, 2020 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Add an external URL to a featured image in the Genesis Featured Post widget #495974AnitaKeymasterSounds like you just need to use Genesis Featured Page Advanced. No extra code needed - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-page-advanced/.

AnitaKeymasterAre you trying to change 2020 to a previous year? If so you should put a beginning year and keep the current to acknowledge all previous work/content on the website. Change 2005 to your beginning year and it will add it.

AnitaKeymasterAgent Focus is a third party theme and they provide support for their themes here on their forum - https://www.winningagent.com/forums/.

AnitaKeymasterYou can create that with the StudioPress Sample theme. Just use blocks to do that. It looks like that site created it with the block editor and a a Landing Page

AnitaKeymasterI haven't seen any block plugins that offer a block for this but there are a lot of block plugins in the repo, but this offers a block - https://wordpress.org/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/.
