@oceanlife19 you need several pieces of code to make that work: 1) placement of the author image, 2) the function to add Twitter to the profile so you can add their Twitter profile link and 3) adding that link in the Post Info. That's added by creating a shortcode. So again, if you haven't already worked out the code and still need it, let me know. The way I am doing it allows you to display "any" authors information up there. So if you have more than one author, it will display their image, post archive link and their Twitter.

AnitaKeymaster@oceanlife19 I have this feature in my Isabelle Theme and do it a little different. I'm in the process of revamping the theme right now.
If you haven't already used Victor's solution, let me know and I'll write a tutorial and share it here.

AnitaKeymasterI'm closing this as a duplicate post.

December 25, 2019 at 9:05 pm in reply to: How do I add right image to header and have menu underneath? #495638AnitaKeymasterThe web address you've provided is being flagged in the browser as not being secure. You also did not provide the theme name you are using.

AnitaKeymasterI'm not sure I understand the question. Altitude Pro is not broken? It comes with 4 widget areas that do have background areas you can set under Appearance > Customize. You can set those by following the Altitude Pro theme documentation in your my.studiopress.com account. So there's nothing that needs to be updated.

December 25, 2019 at 8:48 pm in reply to: Website crashes while installing child theme(genesis is uploaded) #495636AnitaKeymasterYou need to make sure you are running Requires PHP 5.6+ and WordPress 5.0+ for the latest version of Genesis. You can check that out in the dashboard under Tools > Site Health. Then go to Info and click Server.

December 20, 2019 at 4:33 pm in reply to: How To Remove Email Field in Genesis Comments Section #495614AnitaKeymaster@oceanlife19 you're in my neck of the woods! Those are my Browns!! You can use a plugin like this - https://wordpress.org/plugins/comment-form/ to help with that or hide the fields with CSS, or custom code it using this - https://wordpress.org/support/topic/change-comments-form/. I used Alex's code from there to modify the output.

AnitaKeymaster@joey someone else asked either here or on the Facebook page about this. If you look at third party themes, they only provide a few from one developer. The chances of StudioPress putting all of one developers' themes in the PRO pack would be pretty slim.

December 20, 2019 at 4:20 pm in reply to: what way(s) does SP recommend to add to functions.php #495612AnitaKeymasterLet me ask Lee. He may be out for holiday, but he shares that in other groups. I've never seen that message. But you can also create your own functions plugin using Andrea Whitmer's tutorial - https://www.nutsandboltsmedia.com/how-to-create-a-custom-functionality-plugin-and-why-you-need-one/ or using Bill Erickson's tutorial here - https://www.billerickson.net/core-functionality-plugin/.

December 20, 2019 at 3:21 pm in reply to: what way(s) does SP recommend to add to functions.php #495608AnitaKeymasterThere are different opinions on if Genesis Child Themes get updated. Yes, they are not automatically updated but there are some themes that are updated to include major changes which you'd need to be really careful implementing. For example, performing a Diff Check to see what the difference is between your current file and the updated file. You wouldn't be able to merely install an update as you could overwrite your customization.
Lee Anthony of SEOThemes created this plugin called Genesis Code Snippets. It's in the Github repo and not the WordPress repo.
Take a look at that to see if that will help you. Or you can create your own custom function file and custom CSS file.

December 20, 2019 at 3:16 pm in reply to: Can u guys allow more characters in search results please? #495607AnitaKeymasterHi @alguevara the StudioPress team does not visit the community forum often. I would suggest sending your screen shot to them via their Contact form. That's a great idea to add a little snippet there.

AnitaKeymasterP.S. Your code says "Aspire Pro" not "Altitude Pro" as you've tagged this post.
Function create_function() is deprecated in /nfs/c10/h08/mnt/178082/domains/marasitara.com/html/wp-content/themes/aspire-pro/functions.php on line 128
On the WooCommerce number of products line you posted, remove that and add this from WooCommerce - https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-number-of-products-displayed-per-page/. I think they changed the code. But not 100% sure.

AnitaKeymasterDid you reach out to Appfinite themes about this issue? You're using Aspire Pro and this could be a bug or known issue. Wes may be able to assist you with since it's a third party theme. Here's his forum.

AnitaKeymasterHi @styzer we are all volunteers here. I am not an employee and I provide links to all resources, premium and free to give users an option. There are quite a number of people who find his site, as well as other premium tutorial sites helpful in their development. I'm sorry if you feel you deserve "free help" to customize your website. None of the StudioPress themes offer the option to switch between "box" and "full width" layouts. However, there are third party themes that do offer that. Good luck with your project.

AnitaKeymasterI personally never heard of that plugin. You're using the Refined Theme by Restored 316 Designs. Maybe reach out to them about how to implement that.
