You may have changed the name of the theme. Did you modify any of the theme files to change the name from Mai or Altitude Pro? That message is basically saying it can't find Genesis or an active Child Theme.

AnitaKeymasterAny theme can be used.

AnitaKeymaster@mandiebelfast I've moved your post from where you submitted it to get more information. You need to provide the theme name and a URL of where you are having issues. We can't help if we can't see it.

December 17, 2019 at 9:28 pm in reply to: Theme with slider across the full width of the screen #495541AnitaKeymasterOutreach, Education, Refined, Market and Mai Lifestyle all have Sliders. The other themes do not but there are tutorials on the web on how to add sliders to other themes.

AnitaKeymasterThere isn't a block for Genesis Featured Posts yet. I'm not sure about "Products" as you didn't say what products. If it's from a plugin, you'd need to check that Products plugin to see if they have a block for it. If you use Atomic Blocks, you can add a Featured Posts Grid of posts.

AnitaKeymasterIt's leading to the StudioPress demo. Update the link on the Menu to point to where you need it.

AnitaKeymasterYou may want to check robots.txt and/or your .htaccess file. Could be caused by a plugin. Deactivate plugins to see if that resolves it.

December 13, 2019 at 6:58 pm in reply to: Comments option doesn't show on my blog in Metro Pro #495492AnitaKeymasterThe solution for her was to deactivate the comments and pingbacks and then re-activate them. The comment box then displayed. I'll close this as resolved.

AnitaKeymasterThe theme I recommended - Mai Lifestyle is in the StudioPress Pro Pack. It's a third party theme you have access to. Your do pretty much anything with the themes. But you really want to use themes that have been updated. For example accessibility and to use the block editor. The really older themes like the one you are using now is neither. But whatever you think is right for the client is your choice but I'd never use something that outdated.

AnitaKeymasterYes! Glad that worked for you.

AnitaKeymasterThe theme you are using is very outdated. You should consider purchasing newer themes or even the Pro Pack so you have access to all of them and future ones.

AnitaKeymasterI really think you should use Mai Lifestyle. It's really flexible. It's updated, accessible-ready, mobile-friendly and can do what you want. The provide good support too. The theme is one of the StudioPress third-party themes too.

AnitaKeymaster@krystyn I just received the following snippet to remove the link.
remove_filter( 'feed_link', 'genesis_feed_links_filter', 10, 2 );
Let me know if that works for you.

AnitaKeymasterThanks for letting me know. I'll send a note to the devs on this.

AnitaKeymaster@krystyn so adding this line of code to your themes' functions.php file does not work for you? Did you make sure you cleared any caching that may be in the website?
remove_action( 'template_redirect', 'genesis_feed_redirect' );

AnitaKeymasterTypically you would need to lose data. But you should make a backup of the website before you do. Before you switch, move your widgets into the Inactive Widget Area for safekeeping. You can then place them in the new theme where you want them. But you should not lose data like pages, posts, media.

AnitaKeymasterI am glad you resolved it. I saw you joined Slack. Join some channels there. You'll probably get a higher level of code help there.
