@aleigh Gallery Pro is a third party theme and they provide support for their own themes. Gallery Pro has not been updated for Gutenberg and block editor. You should reach out to Design by Bloom for support - https://designbybloom.co/contact/.

AnitaKeymasterAnitaKeymaster@the-junk-wave you said,
I saved draft on my phone but when I went into editor to complete it and pretty it up, it is stuck.
Did you go to the editor on your phone later or did you access the editor from your desktop computer?

November 9, 2019 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Featured Custom Post Types for Genesis in Gallery Pro #494587AnitaKeymasterAhhh you could have also used Genesis Featured Page Advanced then - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-page-advanced/. I love that plugin!

AnitaKeymaster@blogdaz if you use the Classic Editor, you would need to go find the Hex color and then add that hex with the corresponding boxes/buttons via the Additional CSS box or changing the code directly in the stylesheet. If you use the Block Editor, you can select those colors right in the block for the boxes/buttons. So if you are looking for a faster way to do it, I think the block editor would be good to use. If you can code up quickly using CSS, then working up the CSS might be good. I think it depends on ones skill level and what works best for them.

November 9, 2019 at 2:42 pm in reply to: Change Site Identity – Site Title Font style and size #494585AnitaKeymaster@thevegastourist this is the community forum where we volunteer our time and service to help. StudioPress does not participate in this forum unless there are bug issues or issues found with an update.
Note: @tom-reid said,
Please bear in mind I am a novice with infant knowledge of CSS
So that is why I "personally" suggested Design Palette Pro which would be much easier for him to navigate.
The forum is not to provide full fledged customization services to customers of StudioPress themes.

AnitaKeymasterI think you are the person who has found their answer in Genesis Slack. You really were not presenting the question here in the same manner as you did there.

AnitaKeymaster@seashore I don't think you quite understand how Genesis works. If you want a full width page for a particular page - you select the full-width LAYOUT on the Edit screen. If you want a page or post with a sidebar - you select the content-sidebar or sidebar-content LAYOUT on the Edit Screen.

AnitaKeymasterRobin Cornett's plugin will allow you to place Hero images with the title and post info over it - https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-featured-image-genesis/. Is that what you are referring to?
Updated to replace the URL above.

AnitaKeymasterYou do not need a template. If you want the entire website to be full width, you simply add the code from this page - https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/snippets/admin-management/force-the-genesis-layout-settings/ which is:
//* Force full-width-content layout setting add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
If you want full width on the home page to remove the primary sidebar, you would need to locate the layout setting in front-page.php and modify that to be full width as indicated in the above code.
You do not need a template.

AnitaKeymasterI'd say do the re-design so you'll be able to benefit from all of the new features and functions of Genesis along with some of the Genesis specific plugins.

AnitaKeymasterBut what will you be displaying on the template? You can create many types of templates.

AnitaKeymaster@seashore you originally wrote:
I want to remove the sidebar from the default page template...
Are you trying to remove the sidebar completely from your website or are you trying to create a template of your own that does not have the Primary sidebar? Your responses are a little bit confusing.

AnitaKeymasterYou are using the old XHTML version of News. You will need to log in to your my.studiopress.com account and download the HTML5 version.
Support for XHTML theme ended with Genesis 3.0. So you are stuck at your current version unless you upgrade your theme to the new version of News Pro. See Changelog here - https://studiopress.github.io/genesis/changelog/ under 3.0.0 > Removal Heading (Removed support for all non-html5 output.).
Your site will need to be updated with all of your branded colors, etc. You can use a plugin called Widget Importer & Exporter to export your current widgets to your desktop. Change themes and then import the widget file to import your widget content.
I would say maybe put the site on a Staging area, work up the new website and then push the update to Live to give you the new look.
It's basically going to be a re-design with an updated version of News Pro. I'd sugg

AnitaKeymasterYour theme is not News Pro but the older version simply called News. It looks like you had the older version that was NOT responsive and someone may have customized it to be responsive. Did someone customize the site for you?

AnitaKeymasterNovember 7, 2019 at 6:08 am in reply to: How to increase text content width in News Pro Theme. #494514AnitaKeymasterSometimes the ads don't fit. They haven't quite master that implementation yet. I've had many bloggers on Ad networks like Mediavine and ThriveAds who have had to make adjustments to their ad code. And Auto Ads do not always show up in the same place either. What you see now may not be what you see later today, i.e., an ad at the top may be gone, but another ad put somewhere else.

November 7, 2019 at 5:25 am in reply to: How to increase text content width in News Pro Theme. #494511AnitaKeymasterThe issue is that you are running Google Adsense Auto Ads. That's not something we can help with. I see the ads are running off the page.
