Tavisme....were you able to get it set up the way you wanted? I added a widget to my Slider area and am still getting everything full width and stacked. I had given up for the last 2 weeks thinking maybe I had an issues elsewhere.
Thank you for adding your experience with this theme! I sent in a support ticket and heard nothing.Ashley
ashjoieleeMemberMy apologies for being unclear - let me start over. I do NOT want anything full width. But, whatever I added was showing as full width, which was what I was trying to resolve.
I'm trying to set it up close to the demo theme, so that I have some featured posts in the content area and profile widget, etc in the sidebar.
Everything was showing as full width and I was trying to see why.
Hope that helps?ashjoieleeMemberThanks! Got rid of everything in the sidebar split...
Got posts side by side...but the Genesis user profile widget is still showing full width, even though it is in the Primary sidebar.ashjoieleeMemberThanks Jason,
I saw my blog posts side by side when I first installed it (which is how it should be) but, now, everything is full width. I've moved things around many times trying to see if maybe I needed widgets in the areas in order to see them, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. So, I'm not sure what made it go full width. 🙁
ashjoieleeMemberThank you for looking Sridhar, I just checked on my roommates laptop and it is working - just not on my laptop. Weird.

ashjoieleeMemberOh bless you David!
That was driving me crazy!Thank you, thank you!!! 🙂

ashjoieleeMemberI changed the font and added the "♥" etc., and it worked! *whew* Thanks for all your help!
ashjoieleeMemberThank you for replying Neil. Sadly, that did't work either. The odd thing is, I have the characters used in other areas of the site and they're OK.
Do I need to remove the 'utf8' from the line below in my wp-config.php file?
Database Charset to use in creating database tables. */
define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8');Ash
ashjoieleeMemberLauren,
Thank you so much! That did the trick.
I agree about the graininess of the background image. I've gone over this many times with client and she wants to use this image.Ash
ashjoieleeMemberI give up! I'm using Parallax pro...tried everything to get opt in in a horizontal row. Not sure what CSS to copy/add from other sites.
What I have now is using Magic Action box and it has horizontal CSS added--still not displaying right. 🙁
It's at: ashjoielee.com (in footer)
ashjoieleeMemberI think mailchimp does allow for horizontal opt-in forms. Surprised aweber doesn't.
Sites who have this are: minimadesigns.com
and briangardner.com (in footer)ashjoieleeMemberI followed Sridhar's post on "Horizontal Opt-in with a full width background image in Genesis"...I got close to what I wanted, but his tut is on the opt in being in the middle of the full width image that parallax uses. His tut's are so helpful, but I really want a small thin bar that doesn't use an entire section.
I think this will become more the norm as the new themes are great for this style. Wishing aweber would adjust to follow suit!
Anyway...hoping someone can post how to do this! 🙂Ash
ashjoieleeMemberThank you much Brad!!
February 13, 2014 at 5:27 pm in reply to: How to change the order of the Featured Posts in Home Middle area in Agency Pro #90187ashjoieleeMemberHI Anitac,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. All I've been able to see to do is play tetris with it and delete, then re-do posts to get them in the right order. Frustrating!Ash
ashjoieleeMemberSteve,
Did you ever get this resolved? I'm trying to do the same thing. Thanks,
