You would need to add some custom code to the function.php for the child theme that would A) hide the tagline then B) take the tagline and insert it into the Titles alt like your requesting.
This isn't technically a Genesis issue but a customization your child theme issue.
avgjoegeekMemberHave you tried playing around with the CSS elements using Firefox or Chromes developer tools to see what CSS needs to get changed? That'd be a good place to start.
Right click on the area you want to change and click inspect element. Should get you close to the CSS code that controls it. You can make the changes you want without affecting the forum. The make the adjustments within the actual forum CSS after you know it works.

This guy was looking for something similar and found a plugin to help.
avgjoegeekMemberBrad. I think I have most of it figured out. Needed to stop over thinking it as the theme has the Classes I needed already.
Created a txt widget called the correct class for the image I'm using. Just need to do the same for the text and add the CSS for positioning it.
