November 1, 2014 at 3:58 pm in reply to: Beautiful Pro: Feature image replacing background image #130115BauhiniaMemberI worked it out - thanks!!
I deleted this code from the functions.php file:
//* Hook site header banner after header
add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'beautiful_site_header_banner' );
function beautiful_site_header_banner() {echo '<div class="site-header-banner"></div>';
}

The 'background' is the image I uploaded in the Appearance / Background section in WordPress. This image on my site is the one with multiple shapes going across the site, and the first colour is red, then orange, then yellow etc.
If you have a look at http://www.thatsthespiritonline.com/program-login/module-7/ it is displaying 2 images on the page (multiple shapes AND single shape with wording).
I would like to replace the image with the single coloured shape and wording image. This image will be different for each 'Module' page.
Thank you!
BauhiniaMemberHi, I'm wondering if anyone figured out how to do this? I would be interested in knowing this too please. Thank you.
BauhiniaMemberThanks so much for this solution Tom. I came into the forum because I wanted to link to pages not posts. Your instructions are great.
BauhiniaMemberThank you! I'll share this feedback.
BauhiniaMemberHas anyone else has this issue?
BauhiniaMemberHi Lynne,
Thank you for replying. How strange. I'm not a Mac person - could it be something to do with screen resolution?
Thank you!!
BauhiniaMemberIt was never resolved and we ended up just setting our photos differently so even if you looked at the site you wouldn't see the issues because the site is now finished and we've moved on. Thanks for asking and seeing if you could help. I appreciate you taking the time.
BauhiniaMemberElaine, I ended up changing the css file to add a margin. I basically kept changing the left/right margin until it was centred.
.executive-home .featuredpage img,
.executive-home .featuredpost img {
margin: 0 70px 30px;
}BauhiniaMemberHi,
Can anyone help me with this question?
Thanks.
BauhiniaMemberThanks for responding Robin.
Unfortunately the images are set as alignment none and they're automatically sitting on the left side of the widget.
BauhiniaMemberThanks Susan. The image is the correct size, the dimensions in the slider are incorrect and I cannot believe I missed such an easy fix... I had looked at the settings a number of times but it didn't register that I had to change the settings. DOH!! I won't forget that next time 🙂 Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. 🙂 It's now working as it should be.
