Thanks for the reply. I've tried any of a dozen of them and they are all the same result. For the moment I'm using this one because it's the easiest to style and it's extremely clean from a visual and insertion standpoint.

The problem comes about that the box isn't also inserted into the author page, which uses the stock Genesis/Metro version. If there were actual files to edit, e.g. author.php, this would be simple to remedy. I'm learning that Genesis templates has a very high learning curve and simple edits are certainly not straightforward. Hopefully this issue has a simple way to manage and I can ramp up the learning curve on templates in the coming weeks. Thank you!
boldplanParticipantI added one and changed the words to "Categories" instead of "Filed Under" and it didn't do anything unfortunately. Thanks for trying...
boldplanParticipantI've searched the forums and keep finding this question unanswered. Has anyone been able to define how you can set the parameters for customizing the 'Filed Under" text so you can change it to what you want?
boldplanParticipantI've been trying to do this to, simply to modify the "Filed Under" text to something else. It's the one part about Geneis that I find positively infuriatingly difficult. To do some simple things takes forever to figure out and requires finding snippets that don't always spell out what to do. That page doesn't seem to provide a clear way to remove just the words or how to change them. Hopefully someone can provide that information and it would help to update the snippet database. Otherwise, genesis is truly fantastic in many ways.
