December 2, 2013 at 6:33 pm in reply to: Featured post widget – get date & title on same line #76720cantchooseaname8MemberYes, I did use that plugin. However, the format is still the same with the date showing up on a separate line below the title. The weird thing is that when I use the posts widget (not the featured posts, but just the posts widget), the date and title show up on the same line. Granted they are reversed with the title showing first instead of the date, but they remain on the same line. With the featured post widget, adding the date always creates a new line to display the date.

At the bottom, I have the featured post widget titled Articles & News. I would like to have the format something like "dd/mm/yy Article Title". Then if the title is too long, it will cut it short and add "..." at the end.
Thanks in advance for any help!
cantchooseaname8MemberFor anyone interested. I was able to achieve the result I wanted. To do this, I inserted the "font-viarant: small-caps" code into my CSS and it does exactly what I needed.
cantchooseaname8MemberThank you! That worked perfectly.
Now I'm trying to change the titles to make the first letter of each word bigger. I tried using first-letter, but it only increases the size of the very first letter, instead of the first letter of every word. Do you know of any way to do this?
Thank you again for all of your help.
cantchooseaname8MemberSorry...I just realized that my site was set to private. I fixed it now and you should be able to view it.
Thanks again!
cantchooseaname8MemberMy site is http://www.tlrplanning.com. If you wouldn't mind taking a look, it would be much appreciated.
cantchooseaname8MemberThanks Brad, but that doesn't seem to be working. When I go to .home-middle-1 and .home-middle-2, etc. sections of the CSS, I can change the background color. However, adding font-size code doesn't change the font size. I'm not sure why some things can be changed while other's can't. Do you have any other suggestions or perhaps I am just not doing it correctly?
Thanks for the help!
