I'm going to call them back and have them turn the dudamobile off. Maybe that will fix the problem. If not, I'll deal with whatever problem that causes. I'm getting good at putting out these small fires 🙂
cathy52MemberHi Brock. I don't have the dudamobile plugin but GoDaddy does have dudamobile activiated on that domain and hosting account. I'm going to assume that they need to turn that off on their end. At this point all I have left are assumptions.
Thanks!
cathy52MemberIf I had enough experience and confidence I'd ride roughshod also. I'm going to try adding the background color change as you suggested. Going to quick route first. But a break is needed before I do anything else.
Thanks!
cathy52MemberI like your attitude! And, I am learning. I've always made copies of the original code and then a copy of the changes I made to the original code to compare. For me, that is easier than going through code and looking for initials. I don't know who is more anal, my friend or me.
I managed to make the changes I wanted to the primary navigation. Now the secondary navigation is a bit wonky. The "home, about" and such aren't showing with a white background with black text any longer. Will get that figured out though. Now that I know my way around a bit better.
Thanks again for your help.
cathy52MemberThanks for the reassurance. 🙂 Wish me luck, I'm going in!
cathy52MemberI would rather you had tampered with it than her! You know, whey you say, "I think" I get a bit nervous.
cathy52MemberDW is my friend. She stopped working on the site because she became frustrated. I hate the way she initials her changes. And the fact that she didn't copy and save the original code.
I appreciate your help.
cathy52MemberOkie Dokie, will see what I can get it to do. And yes, I've thought about the dropdowns. Still don't know where to find the code to change font color 🙂
I used to know what I was doing when working with a studiopress theme. That has all changed!
cathy52MemberSorry, forgot one other thing. The code for changing navbar font to white. Where will I find that?
cathy52MemberThanks Dom! I'll give it a try. Appreciate your help.
cathy52MemberI got it all changed. Thanks again.
cathy52MemberThank you, worked like a charm! Now to figure out how to change font color and the color of that darn black bar.
Will get it done!
