Hi I rechecked the theme allows for default and landing as the page templates. Could that be the issue because "blog" is not an option?
March 12, 2019 at 11:11 am in reply to: Blog Contains Posts Used for Genesis Responsive Slider #489998dahlkrMemberHi Anita , thank you. I did try that - in Theme Settings, blog template, exclude categories - and entered the post category. That didn't work either. Kinda Stumped
March 12, 2019 at 10:11 am in reply to: Blog Contains Posts Used for Genesis Responsive Slider #489989dahlkrMemberHi Victor assume I am using a genesis blog template; the theme is hello pro which is third party so I am not sure. I did try what you suggested in your blog post and it didn't work - - not sure. IS there a way to tell what blog template was used.
thanks
February 12, 2019 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Can a site go to a landing page with button to actual home page with nav/widgets #489522dahlkrMemberThat appears to be a crazy way to go about this.
What would the settings be to set the
redirect site to the landing page and then click through to the
HOMEPAGE: HOMEHope I am making some sense
Thank you
dahlkrMemberThank you. Got it, for anyone working on Hello Pro I udpated the following files:
- widget-setup.php file (in lib folder)
- front-page.php
- front-page.cssThank you @Victor Font.
dahlkrMemberLet me clarify. I would like the first column to be 50 percent and the other two 25 percent. Thanks
dahlkrMemberThank you for responding.
I am having a hard time determining the min-height for each media query. It is bugging me that you can't just can't use 100% like you can with the height. UGH. I really want to stay on the path I am on (Nuts and Bolts) helped get me this far but it appears that path will require me to revisit or keep tweaking. Tomorrow's another day so perhaps I will get brave and try your suggestion via the link.
Any firebug tutorials you would suggest.
Again, thanks much...amazing how smart and savvy so many of you guys are...

On the different size devices there is now a big space between the header and the site inner. I will play around with it. I so appreciate your help.
November 25, 2013 at 10:02 am in reply to: Executive Pro Full Width Header Mobile Responsive Issue #75521dahlkrMemberHi thank you but I am not sure how exactly to comment it out properly. Can you provide which php lines to add the
remove (comment out) with the exact wording as I have never done this before.Thank you.
November 24, 2013 at 7:53 am in reply to: Executive Pro Full Width Header Mobile Responsive Issue #75351dahlkrMemberHi Nuts and Bolts
I was out all day yesterday - just getting to this. Was so excited but it did not work. Once removing the header image in the "Appearance" section, the site went back to a text header. It is not picking up the image from the stylesheet.
Any other ideas?
Thanks thus far.
June 25, 2013 at 9:20 am in reply to: Executive: Is there a way to align CTA to Right of Home Top #47658dahlkrMemberWish that worked but it didn't. Any other suggestions?
dahlkrMemberIf you update the function.php file and genesis does an update, will I lose the change?
December 6, 2012 at 10:01 pm in reply to: Putting post info (post date/month) next to post tittle #3657dahlkrMemberHi, was interested in your question so did some research.
You can easily accomplish this by installing the plug-in Auto Post Title. It's pretty user friendly.
Good Luck
