Thanks dev for the time you took to write about your experience so far with the plugin, I am very interested in giving it a try, and you actually enticed me more..
YES, I do and can play around with the code and add custom widgets, however if this plugin makes it A LOT faster, then I'm in, at the end of the day it's all about saving time, and if that is what this plugin does, and it's stable, it sounds like a very well spent $40

de PaulusMemberI actually did this today, and my advice is DO NOT use the Header option mentioned above!..
The way I did it, was to change the "Header Title" width to 0 px, and the "Header Right Widget" to 960 px. I then added the EXCELLENT "Black Studio TinyMCE" plugin [ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/ ] to the Top Right Widget and just added my Full width header banner.
If you do NOT want a Full Width header, then you can just add a background url to the "Header Title" section of your .css, and make sure you turn off the "Show site name and description" in the Dashboard > Appearance > Header.
Good Luck

de PaulusMemberWOW, I just checked the plugin mentioned above, and it's dope!!. This will definitely save a lot of time creating custom theme home pages.

de PaulusMemberYour site was a nice, clean and un-cluttered feel to it. Easy to read and navigate. Unless you have changed your picture as mentioned above, I think it looks well proportioned.
If I had to change something, I would switch the the FIRST Left hand widget, with the SECOND left hand widget. The reason why, is now when I land on your site, all I can see on the left is a long list of Cat. - However if you switched, I would instantly see BOTH widgets, the App widget and the Cat. list - Switching the widgets would show more Info on entering your site.. I know this is only the case with people using larger monitors ( like myself), but nowadays you have to think of everything..
Very Nice and Clear site - Good Luck

de PaulusMemberIf you want to design / test locally I can strongly suggest ServerPress [ http://serverpress.com/ ] it also comes with a Full Migration option, however I use it in combination with Backup Buddy [ http://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/ ] Together they are a Golden Team.
However, I prefer to use a Live Testing Server, I purchased a domain and cheap hosting, and just upload it to my Testsite, once I'm happy with it, I use Backup Buddy to move it to it's final place.
The benefits of this, is that you can work on it from any and multiple laptop(s) / computer(s)
Good Luck

de PaulusMemberHi.
Updating to 3.5 was a nightmare, and I had similar issues, could not open widgets, could not add images, could not change between text & visual editors.. etc..etc..
Im my case it turned out to be TWO plugins that were not compatible with WP 3.5 - I disabled them and things seem to be working again, but for some reason it still feels like it's not as smooth as it was before the upgrade.
Hope you get it fixed, start with all your Plugins
Good Luck
