Thank you!
ErikaParticipantThank you both! Both codes are effective.
ErikaParticipantCarasmo,
Thank you so much! This worked perfectly!
One last question: How do I filter out page titles?
February 7, 2017 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Infinity Pro – Header Logo causes top menu to become not centered #200736ErikaParticipantHey Accentweb,
Find this code in your style sheet and add what I've put in bold:
.header-image.front-page .genesis-nav-menu a {
color: white;
padding: 31px 17px;
}Let me know if this helps!
February 7, 2017 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Modify Parallax Pro buttons + a couple other things #200735ErikaParticipantDan,
The code I gave you will stand alone in the CSS sheet. It won't be surrounded by that garble. Here is the code you need to change the hover color:
button:hover,
input:hover[type="button"],
input:hover[type="reset"],
input:hover[type="submit"],
.button:hover {
background-color: #fff;
}Change #fff to whatever you like. Put the border radius in the first line of bolded code I gave you in my first response. Remember, it will stand alone.

Find the first code in bold I gave you, and right beneath it in your code sheet should be the same code but with hover included in it. That is where you will delete the color number you don't like and add your own. I can't pull up the exact code unfortunately.
January 30, 2017 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Modify Parallax Pro buttons + a couple other things #200281ErikaParticipantHi Dan,
To round the button, find this code:
button, input[type="button"], input[type="reset"], input[type="submit"], .button
and add border-radius: 32px; at the end of the code line beneath it. Play with that number until you find the degree of roundness you like. Also, see if this code has another one near by with "hover" included in it. Then delete the HTML color number and add your own.
To change the top navigation bar color, find the code below and insert your HTMl color number, as I already did.
.site-header {
background-color: #35c379;
left: 0;
position: fixed;
top: 0;
width: 100%;
z-index: 999;
}To change the bottom footer bar, same instructions as above.
.site-footer {
padding: 40px 0;
text-align: center;
background: #35c379;
}Hope this helps!
ErikaParticipantHi Lisa,
You should be able to upload it. Depending on what company hosts your website, you may be able to access your website's root files through a File Manager in your cPanel. If you can, you would locate the folder of you site, find the correct child theme folder, and upload you php file to it. This would create the changes on your site and prevent them from being overwritten when Genesis updates, because the file would appear to be part of your child theme.
Hope this helps!
ErikaParticipantHi RoxG,
This code is located in your theme. Delete the max width and simply adjust the regular width to whatever you'd like it to be. Let me know if this helps!
.full-width-content .content {
border-right: none;
float: none;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
max-width: 840px;
width: 100%;
}ErikaParticipantHi Danielle,
Try this code:
.content .entry-header .entry-meta {
color: #777;
font-size: 12px;
line-height: 3;
text-transform: none;
margin-top: -80px;
padding-bottom: 39px;
}Make sure your titles are not longer than two lines. You may have to tweak this for mobile view.
January 24, 2017 at 10:32 am in reply to: How to Add Text After Header Before Content Genesis Framework #199935ErikaParticipantAnother way you can achieve this is by reading this tutorial. It will show you how to add a full width widget to the homepage only, and from there, you can insert a text widget and write whatever you'd like. This option will also allow you to add different things to the same space later if you end up wanting more than just text.
ErikaParticipantHmistler,
Are you viewing your shop page in admin mode or from a logged out perspective? When I make edits to my site and try to view them in admin mode, sometimes they don't appear unless I manually refresh. But, from an outsider perspective, the changes are indeed there.
ErikaParticipantThere are several plugins that might be able to help you with a full width image. Try Display Featured Image for Genesis, for starters. There are also other plugins besides this one that will allow you to set a different full width header image on each page.
January 24, 2017 at 9:09 am in reply to: Need your objective opinions: Math Worksheet Generator #199928ErikaParticipantHieutran,
Here are my notes from a review of your site.
Front Page - Very well done design wise and information wise.
Engines Page - The boxes becoming blue on selection is a nice touch, but the two columns of options are not centered on the page. Do you have a sidebar active with nothing in it? You can chose for the entire theme to be full width in the Genesis options panel from the admin dashboard if that's what you are going for.
Generator Page - No issues here except at the bottom, where there is a button with a "+" sign in it. You might want to note somewhere by it to indicate that is the tool people will use to select what engines they want.
Register/Login page - Both have a lot of empty space at the top. I'd suggest tightening that so both info boxes appear in the center of the page.
Page Titles overall - Try putting them in uppercase and centering them in the middle of the gray boxes they are in. That might look better. And, maybe use a less weightier or "thinner" font.Hope these notes help!
ErikaParticipantYou're welcome 🙂
January 22, 2017 at 9:38 pm in reply to: Sleek Pro Magazine Theme (Built on Genesis Sample Theme) #199823ErikaParticipantYes! Perfect! I'd even make the default header text larger, about two to three sizes up. But hey, it's your call!
ErikaParticipantMcollins,
When I inspected the theme I found #d43c67 after this line of code:
button, input[type="button"], input[type="reset"], input[type="select"], input[type="submit"], .button {
Open your CCS file and search for what I gave you. Delete that color code and add in the new one you would like. This should resolve your issue.
ErikaParticipantHi RoxG,
One solution could be to download the Display Featured Image for Genesis plugin. It will allow you to upload an image to your blog page to be featured at the top, and you can choose whether or not it will appear as a user continues going through the pages of the blog archive. You can also adjust the size of the image in the settings. Let me know whether or not this helps!
January 22, 2017 at 8:41 pm in reply to: Sleek Pro Magazine Theme (Built on Genesis Sample Theme) #199819ErikaParticipantSusanta,
I took a look at your child theme, and I like that it's very functional and displays a lot of content! I would suggest making the header area larger, however, and maybe even centering the text. Whoever uses this theme might want the name of their site to make a bit more of an impression. Thanks for sharing!
January 22, 2017 at 8:35 pm in reply to: Feedback on readability please (based on Wellness Pro theme) #199818ErikaParticipantAsoon,
I took a look at your site and yes, it's very easy to read! I love themes that have text centered in the middle of the page, plus the size you chose is not too big or small. The headers are very well sized and spaced as well. Be worried no longer!
