Hi CoralSea,
In terms of generating a "complete" package of favicons you might want to try . It even creates the code for you. The site check tool is also very useful in finding favicon problems. But at this time I can't get the favicons displaying using 'best practices' with my genesis child theme. My home url ,http://www.moreso.co, without WordPress works perfectly; different favicons show on different devices. But my blog site in a sub folder, http://www.moreso.co/blog, doesn't work on iOS and the site check tool says I am missing numerous pnd formats, etc.
@stupha, would you have any ideas? Could it be file location or simply a child theme issue?dssayerMemberHi Everyone,
After my last post where I mentioned:But if the number of posts on the home page is all of them, I guess it’s not needed and might turn off by default.
I went looking for a related settings. This was indeed the exact problem! For those interested here is the solution.
1. Goto Settings > Reading and change Blog pages show at most to a number less than your total number of posts. eg: In my case I set it to 4 because I had about 9 posts.
2. As Stewart advised, change the navigation type at Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives and change the Post Navigation Technique as desired. eg: I wanted numeric for "1,2 Next".
Now my home page only shows 4 posts with navigation buttons below. Fantastic!
Hope it helps someone else.
dssayerMemberHi Stewart,
Thanks. I tried changing these but nothing happens. I should of mentioned that I don't have any such navigation buttons appearing on any page currently. So, the type of navigation might not be the problem, it might be actually displaying of the navigation buttons that I'm missing.Another thought....I think I have enough posts, including the sample posts, to warrant navigation. But if the number of posts on the home page is all of them, I guess it's not needed and might turn off by default. So, do I need to change the number of recent posts on the home page to make the navigation show?
Thanks,
David -
