That is because there is padding on the wrap and also around the a tags of the navigation.
You should get add web inspector to your browser, and then you will be able to see the tags that need modification.To remove the padding on the wraps you need to add this before the media queries
.site-header .wrap,
.nav-secondary .wrap{
padding: 0;
}

You can have different passwords for different pages/posts. You can find this option in the Publish box under Visibility, the default is Public.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantAs I explained previously, changing the h1-h6 tags does not work in the widgets, their code is overwritten by specific selectors for the widgets.
E.G. .image-section h4, .solid-section h4
These selectors override the regular h4 tag.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantYou have the following code which is making your nav and site-title white, so it doesn't show up on the white background.
.front-page .nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu a, .front-page .offscreen-content-icon button, .front-page .site-title a, .front-page .site-title a:hover, .front-page .site-title a:focus { color: #fff; }

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantYou should be able to change the font size in the .image-section h4,.solid-section h4,
the 16px overrides the regular h4 font size of 24px
