Hi kenziejoy, have you tried using the "more" tag in your content? This image is from a post I did years ago about the responsive slider. It might help explain it.

Thank you!
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberTry finding this around line 134:
a, a:visited {
color: #509AC9;
text-decoration: none;and change it to this:
a, a:visited {
color: #0000ff !important;
text-decoration: none;That worked for me.

Elizabeth CraneMemberElizabeth CraneMemberThanks David. I also use the ALT tags but for the SEO to be even better it helps for the file name to coincide with the ALT tag.
And now, I have learned another good lesson as to why it is always good to read the fine print! I'm heading there now. Thank you so much for pointing that out. 🙂

Elizabeth CraneMemberBill, thanks so much for checking on that for me. I'm going to work on this more tomorrow. I may just use the Redirection plugin and see how that works. I really appreciate your help with this.
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberThanks Bill. I did the permalink change and it worked fine and automatically redirected through WP. I then used the "Generate Redirects" tool here. http://yoast.com/change-wordpress-permalink-structure/
All seems OK and my site is still up! 🙂

Elizabeth CraneMemberI really like it. It's nice and clean and the colors are appealing. I don't know if you did their logo but it is really good too.
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberI'm not sure if you mean stack on top of the slider image because to me that means it would cover the slider image. What about placing your slider images on top of a background color and use the full slider image width and height? It seems like that would be your image frame. You could even have different colors of background that way...or keep the same color. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you want but that is my first thought.
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberThere are a few plugins for this but I like to use Comment Luv. The free version should work but their premium one is even more awesome.
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberThanks for replying. Good point about the header not being clickable. I'm trying to think what will be the best way to do that. I could use the
genesis_header
Hook I think but not sure how that will work with how I've uploaded it now through the "custom header." What are your thoughts on the best way to do that?I've struggled with that damn sidebar for a while trying to decide how to make it better. It is my h1 tag. I made the font a little bit smaller but I'm still not happy with the whole sidebar thing. I'm not crazy about the image I have there either. I'll have to do some deep thinking 🙂 If you have any ideas I'm always open for suggestions.
Thanks so much!
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberI like your website. At first glance I think your header could be dressed up. Since the site is about branding I think your own branding should be prominent. There is so much information in the two sidebars. Make sure your most important widgets are towards the top. Nice job!
Eliz
Elizabeth CraneMemberI'm having the exact same issue as above. I've submitted a ticket but looks like I might not get a response for 48 hours. This is so frustrating.
I certainly appreciate the "new" StudioPress but it is so important for us to be able to download the themes...I would think the most important thing for Pro Plus members.
That being said, if Studio Press themes weren't so awesome this would not be such an issue 🙂 I hate the thought of having to use a theme from somewhere else.
Thanks!
