Ha! I guess there was a lag in purging the cache. Thanks for your help!
May 13, 2018 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Changing background header image height in Beautiful Pro #219832gpsmapperMemberI never got this resolved. Can anyone help?
April 8, 2018 at 11:56 am in reply to: Changing background header image height in Beautiful Pro #218769gpsmapperMemberHmm, still not working for me, despite hard refresh, purging cache at host, and trying multiple browsers.
April 8, 2018 at 11:32 am in reply to: Changing background header image height in Beautiful Pro #218767gpsmapperMemberHey, thanks for taking the time to help!
I have changed the image size to 2000x300px. Do I need to modify this?...
/* Site Header ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */ .site-header .wrap { padding: 40px 0; } .beautiful .site-header-banner { height: 200px; }
Changing the height to 300px still doesn't seem to change anything.

April 8, 2018 at 8:38 am in reply to: Changing background header image height in Beautiful Pro #218757gpsmapperMemberOops, I meant to change that back to the original 200 px. Changing it to 300px didn't do anything.
gpsmapperMemberIt ended up looking pretty good, but something weird is going on as I shrink the window between 1200 and 1000 px. Above and below that it seems to work fine though.
gpsmapperMemberDuh! Yep, that was it. Sheesh! Now I'll see if I can figure out how to
bump the title font size.I really appreciate your help. I'm trying to learn Firebug and it's got quite the learning curve!
gpsmapperMemberThanks Erin. That bumped the title down. I tried decreasing the width of the .site-header .widget-area but it didn't help... http://sundownwt.staging.wpengine.com/
gpsmapperMemberThank you so much for taking the time to respond.
Since the new logo is 75 px wider, I increased the .title-area by 75 px and decreased the .site-header .widget-area by 75 px. I also changed the .header-image .site-title minimum height to 185px, to accommodate the new logo image.
It looks better, but I still can't see the right side of the new logo... http://sundownwt.staging.wpengine.com/
gpsmapperMemberDitto. Thanks Nick, for taking the time to explain it. In the end, if there is still good support, I'll be happy.
I will say that early on (pre-Genesis) I received better support. Folks would walk me through just about any changes I needed to make. As time went on, I'd see more responses along the lines of, we can't create PHP code for you. I just hope there isn't going to be a further lessening of support with this latest change.
I am an end user, not a developer. The support here was the most important thing in getting me to go with StudioPress and then later to a Genesis theme. Strong support is what distinguishes SP from other premium theme vendors. Don't screw it up guys.
gpsmapperMemberSo far I'm not a fan either. I've searched the old forums dozens of times and found answers without having to bug you guys. Now it seems that there will be very limited material to peruse.
