I'm using the Genesis Sample child theme with the Genesis 2.0 Framework — Unfortunately I can't link to my site as I'm developing it locally using MAMP.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. Not quite sure what that achieves except making it work with HTML5?
On the portfolio page each item is displayed with a title & image underneath, I would like the title underneath the image.
Hope this clarifies,
Thanks !

I'm not quite sure I understand. Where would I place that in the code? Also, I'm using the genesis 2.0 sample theme so I assume it's using HTML5. The PHP is from your tutorial — http://wpsites.net/web-design/add-portfolio-custom-post-type-to-focus-theme/
Thanks !

jmoultMemberThanks Brad, worked a treat. 🙂
jmoultMemberThanks Brad,
The article you've linked to me is for the 'Focus' theme, not the sample theme… does it matter?
James
jmoultMemberI would like a custom post type as well — do you have a link to your article?
Thanks!

Thanks!

I've also learned a lesson in php — "?>" needs to be at the end of the file, not after the credits at the beginning… awesome. Thanks again Stewart, it's a beautiful thing to ask a question & get such a helpful response.

Thanks for your reply. To clarify, what I'm after is to have 3 widget areas in the main content area (static homepage), instead of in the footer.
What do you think, is there an easy way to implement this? Thanks 🙂
