Try this:
/** Add Featured Image to Posts - the Webonanza style */ add_action( 'genesis_after_post_title', 'child_do_single_post_image' ); function child_do_single_post_image() { if( is_single() ) genesis_image( array( 'size' => 'post-thumbnail', 'attr' => array( 'class' => 'alignright post-image' ) ) ); }
October 24, 2014 at 11:14 pm in reply to: Parallax Pro Home page styling & Genesis Featured Post widegt #129050jodzeeeMemberI'm not familiar with Parallax Pro, but here's a tutorial for doing that in the footer:
http://sridharkatakam.com/display-3-featured-posts-footer-parallax-pro/Maybe you can apply the same principles to the section you need it.
jodzeeeMemberI gave it a go and I'm not able to make it work with two menus either (my need was to make it work with the secondary and not primary, which I was able to work out). Maybe Marco can help?
jodzeeeMemberYes, I've saved. When I try a test site with the Sample theme, it works ... changes before my eyes and everything. If I switch the theme to Metro Pro and it no longer works. This is on local hosting, so I tried it on a live host and it still doesn't. Here's a screen shot ... not sure it helps, but you can see it's saved but it's still showing the posts and widgets of the home page.

jodzeeeMemberRemove the duration entirely...
$("body").backstretch([BackStretchImg.src]);

jodzeeeMemberYou could try this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/raw-html/jodzeeeMemberHave a look at this tutorial and see if it helps. If you read the comments below it, there's more information that might help too.
jodzeeeMemberSince you're trying to replicate their sample, the provider of the theme should have setup instructions for you. Have you tried here?

jodzeeeMemberSo are we not talking about the link you provided, because on that, I'm finding this:
@media only screen and (min-device-width:768px) and (max-device-width:1024px) and (orientation:portrait) { body, .content-sidebar-sidebar #content, .content-sidebar #content, .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3, .full-width-content #content, .page-template-landing-php #content, .page-template-landing-php #content-sidebar-wrap, .sidebar-content #content, .sidebar-content-sidebar #content, .sidebar-sidebar-content #content, #content-sidebar-wrap, #footer, #footer .creds, #footer .gototop, #footer-widgets, #header, #nav, #sidebar, #sidebar-alt, #subnav { width:100%; }
Also, are you trying to make it fit in the portrait orientation, or scroll horizontally? In what you just provided, it appears that you've got a 630px sidebar wrap + 700px content which is quite a bit larger than the screen size.
jodzeeeMemberHere's a tutorial that might help. You could change the conditional statement to be fore a specific category instead of specific page.

jodzeeeMemberAlso, find where your sidebar is set to 100%. That may be overriding what you are setting. I'm having a hard time looking at your CSS since it's minified.
jodzeeeMemberHave you also tweaked the size of the content area?
jodzeeeMemberHave you tried this tutorial?

August 19, 2014 at 5:13 pm in reply to: This should be easy.. adding a basic menu to Beautiful Pro themed site? #119884jodzeeeMemberYou're not doing commenting in your CSS correctly. If you remove your comments, your main nav will appear the way it should.
p { color: red; /* This is a single-line comment */ text-align: center; }
I'm not sure what's going on with the custom menu though. I just tried installing the theme on one of my sites and it does the same thing!
August 19, 2014 at 4:37 pm in reply to: How to show excerpts of Posts on homepage in Focus Pro Theme #119883jodzeeeMemberTry this tutorial from Brad Dalton:
http://wpsites.net/web-design/set-post-content-limits-for-home-blog-archive-pages/jodzeeeMemberProbably because it's part of the design of the theme ... it's "a look" 🙂
Please mark this as resolved.
jodzeeeMemberAhhhh! I didn't even look there, I knew it'd be something easy!
I thought I'd need to override it in CSS because that's what I had to do to make the font size and padding work since I also have them showing at the top.
I played around with the width and floats to no avail (I couldn't find anywhere the float was changed to none for the footer widgets).
Thanks much!
jodzeeeMemberI don't know if this is the best way, but you can hide the image on other pages using this CSS (and add the class for other templates, as needed).
.page-template-default .backstretch { display:none; }
Perhaps there's a way to add code to functions.php to remove backstretch from all pages except for the home page.
