I actually have the exact same issue. I am using Content Views for a page that pulls in posts in a grid format and want to remove feature image links from the featured images. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.kimmerMemberHow did you fix it? I am using Outreach Pro with Slider Revolution. I put the widget in my "home-top" area, but it says there are no slide shows, when I did create one. ??
kimmerMemberTracy, did you ever get an answer on this? I have the exact same problem.
Thanks.August 30, 2013 at 12:57 pm in reply to: Blog Page Showing Duplicate Photo on main blog page, not on actual post + Other #59734kimmerMemberI just had (I think) the same problem on my home page with the News theme! When I chose to show "Full Content" in the Featured Post widget, it showed my thumbnail image PLUS the full sized image and the full content - even though I limited the content to 250 characters. When I changed the widget to "Show Content Limit", it worked perfectly. Hope this fixes your problem!
kimmerMemberYou're welcome NotFarNow. 🙂
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make the gallery page popup images have scroll arrows so that, instead of only seeing the individual photos and having to close each time, the user can press the arrow to scroll through the whole gallery. (my client uses a lot of iProducts, so it has to be easy on a smartphone.) Also noticed that, on iTouch, the popup gallery image shows as very tiny image. When I expand, it goes off the screen.
Will appreciate any help out there! Thanks.
kimmerMemberNotFarNow,
To show the latest blog posts on the bottom of the page, go to Genesis > Megalithe Settings > Portfolio Settings. Scroll down to 'Homepage Latest Blog Settings' and select 'true' in the dropdown. You can also change the title and add verbiage there. If you want to add any of the shortcodes, that is done in Appearance > Widgets > Feature Bottom. Add a text widget and insert the shortcode.Hope this helps!
kimmerMemberThanks Perry. Appreciate your help on the righthand footer area. Guess I was tired on that one!
kimmerMemberI know that feeling! Glad you found it. 🙂
kimmerMemberHi Perry,
I can't help you with the social icons, but the footer can be manipulated as follows:
1. Go to Appearance > Themes > Customize
2. Under the Navigation dropdown on the left, you'll see Footer Navigation Menu. Select the menu you would like to display in the footer. If you want to change the menu items or create a new menu for the footer, go back to Appearance > Menus in the main WP menu and you'll see all the menus.I am still looking for how to modify the copyright info on the righthand side of the footer.
Hope this helps.
