Yea, that was the first thing I tried, but when I change it to only show 4, it doesn't adjust. I've tried a few plugins and those don't help either.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you very much! This worked great.
I apologize for the late response, as I was out of town and just was now able to do this.
February 3, 2020 at 12:03 pm in reply to: Add Background Image or Color to Landing Page on Beautiful Pro Theme #496392SociallyExceptionalParticipantAH! Alas, I was able to resolve this myself.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThanks Anita. I have done lots of looking on Google, but I guess wasn't finding what I was wanting. I will check this link out! Thank you!
SociallyExceptionalParticipantAnd look at that! I solved the issue. Updating to Genesis 3.1.0 and removing 2 outdated plugins. Thank you!
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you! I will try this
SociallyExceptionalParticipantOk, a quick update....I restored an older backup from 5 months ago. It still did not have the old widget areas on it for me to edit these 3 block areas. I'm pretty discouraged. I've never had something like this happen before where the theme is different/changed all of a sudden. If I remember correctly, these widget areas were entitled Left Middle Middle ad Right middle, or something like that. That is no longer there. There is a welcome message area, so I supposed I could change that so instead of going down on top of each other, they could all be side by side there? What code do I use to change the dimension of the Welcome message area so it goes all the way across the screen?
SociallyExceptionalParticipantAlso, it appears that the theme went through a major update perhaps? Even the background image in the setup document is different now than when we started with what is shown.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThanks Victor!
Any idea why I'm not seeing the widget areas to edit the 3 areas "When getting your point across…
is the point." , "When making art and making a living…
work together.", and "What’s the big deal with something…
so small?". This was orgially done with the Genesis Featured Page and that is no longer there inside the widget areaApril 8, 2019 at 3:47 pm in reply to: How do I Change the thickness of font on entire site? Beautiful Pro #490560SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you Victor! This was exactly what I was looking for.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you! all is well. I have been trying to change this to "Resolved", but it is not updated.
SociallyExceptionalParticipanti have fixed it!
SociallyExceptionalParticipantIndeed it is! Thank you!
SociallyExceptionalParticipantAlso, it appears to be an issue with Chrome, as everything is fine inside IE and FF.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you Jason!
I did go ahead and put this image in and it didn't force me to crop, but it's still cutting short on the site. Once I get this figured out, I can actually go into PS and make the image transparent, etc. Any ideas why it's not showing the full size of the logo area?
SociallyExceptionalParticipantThank you! I had completely forgotten about using a hook. This worked perfectly
October 21, 2014 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Genesis Simple sidebars broke after PHP upgrade to 5.4 #128674SociallyExceptionalParticipantWould this be an issue with my current site? http://www.drlaureen.com/blog/
I have created a separate sidebar for this page, but it doesn't show up even though I have it selected inside the page - the sidebar that shows currently is the default.
SociallyExceptionalParticipantHi Brad,
Yes, I did that. I created the new sidebar I wanted, then went into the blog page and selected the new sidebar, updated and it is still not showing. The default sidebar is what keeps showing. I even tried creating another sidebar, selected it, saved, and nothing. Im not sure what else to do? We're using 2 other special sidebars and those are working fine. For whatever reason this 3rd sidebar Im needing for the blog doesn't appear after selecting and saving.SociallyExceptionalParticipantApologize for the late response!~ Yes,. I was able to go in and upgrade and it reappeared. Thank you!
SociallyExceptionalParticipantYes, she went in and manually changed that. I am not sure why...
What she really is wanting is to have every post just be default at the size 14 and in Arial Font - which I thought I had changed, but I could be wrong =).
So I have 2 questions really:
1. I need to get the default font to be just Arial and nothing else
2. I need to make sure the default post font size is 14 -
