As jengabbard said, you did a great job matching the site to the content. Looks really nice.
LandonMemberYou did a really nice job with this!

LandonMemberYes, that's basically what I do now through Safari's web inspector. Just been trying to find a faster way to go from a design/mockup to a WordPress theme. As a 1 person business, anywhere I can shave off time is helpful!
Thanks for the response!

LandonMemberKellylise I am curious if anyone has created a site in webflow (or macaw or pinegrow or whatever) and managed to integrate WordPress/Genesis. I found a tutorial on integrating with Ultimatum theme but I'd rather stick with Genesis.
lifefullofjules did you get anywhere with webflow?
LandonMemberThe original link is dead now but I can't update that post. Now located at http://yogaatconnies.com if anyone is looking for it.

April 23, 2014 at 8:17 am in reply to: Site Redesign with Genesis News: Suggestions and Feedback Please #102037LandonMemberI like the minimal, clean look! Might want to draw more attention to the posts, either a different color for the post title or featured image which it looks like New Pro supports.
Nice work!
LandonMemberThat's what I was looking for but there is no Custom Header in my functions.php.

LandonMemberIs this the site that is an issue http://www.bookmarklee.co.uk/ ? It appears to work fine for me, viewed with OS X Safari 7.0.3.
LandonMemberYou're welcome!
LandonMemberIn your style.css, add:
h1.entry-title { color: #009bc2; }
Your .entry-title will now match .entry-title a.
LandonMemberBeen there many times!
LandonMemberOk, that's what I mean by use the Sample Child Theme as your child. That is what is used in the demo. You can download it from your downloads area along with Genesis.
LandonMemberSubscribing to this because that thumbs up icon was driving me crazy!
LandonMemberJust a thought, when you say added to the bottom of css file, did you add it below the Media Queries section? Make sure it is above the Media Queries section of the css or it will only work on smaller screens. Have a link to the site?
LandonMemberYou'd still want to create a child theme, don't touch the genesis folder. You can either start with the StudioPress Sample Child Theme as a base or there are a few other 3rd party starters out there. You could also start with an empty child theme and build it from scratch.
All you need to get started is Genesis framework installed, a child folder and a style.css in that folder with something like this which will associate the child to genesis:
/* Theme Name: Genesis Sample Description: This is the sample theme created for the Genesis Framework. Author: StudioPress Author URI: http://www.studiopress.com/ Version: 2.0.1 Tags: black, orange, white, one-column, two-columns, three-columns, fixed-width, custom-menu, full-width-template, sticky-post, theme-options, threaded-comments, translation-ready Template: genesis Template Version: 2.0.1 License: GPL-2.0+ License URI: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/gpl-license.php */
LandonMemberNice Job!
LandonMemberVery nice!
LandonMemberApparently!
LandonMemberThanks!
