Thanks, that worked perfectly. It should be working in the Dynamik functions area so I will let them know it isn't. Thank you for your help.
michaelwildingMemberI use Dynamik theme with Genesis so put it into the custom functions and CSS area in there, nothing happened when I did which may be something to do with this theme as I've tried doing this for the search using similar functions as well but it didn't work.
Is the only way to push the search to the far right using Absolute positioning or is there a better way?
michaelwildingMemberThanks, I tried that but didn't work. I found the plugin Genesis Nav Menu Amplified which adds the functionality into the Genesis > Theme Settings page.
michaelwildingMemberThanks for the help. I tried that Robin but didn't work. I'm looking in the CSS and can only find:
#header {
background-color: #fff;
border-left: 1px solid #d5d5d5;
border-right: 1px solid #d5d5d5;
border-top: 1px solid #d5d5d5;
min-height: 110px;
margin: 0 auto;
overflow: hidden;
width: 960px;
}I can see that showing in the source code but can't see where it's coming from. Might it be coming from Genesis instead of the Child News theme?
michaelwildingMemberThanks Robin, tried that but doesn't seem to work. It's an SP theme I'm using so hopefully someone will get back to me on it.
michaelwildingMemberI thought it might be complicated. Didn't think of creating a full-width widget area below the header. Excellent solution.
Thank you,
Michael
michaelwildingMemberThanks Lynne.
michaelwildingMemberThanks, I'm taking a look at the Genesis Grid plugin now. Currently we\re using the archives template but I don't see that using a widgetised page would be a problem either.
michaelwildingMemberI thought that would be the case but was worth putting it out there to see if someone had a similar problem. I will get someone to look at the plugin
michaelwildingMemberBrilliant, thank you very much Sridhar.
