Thank you. Worked perfect. 🙂
moneyfunkMemberThat did the trick. So simple. I put too much thought into it. 😉 Thank you, Brad.
moneyfunkMemberAh! I just went on my home page and realized the ad now shows up on the front page but not the landing page, now. with the code:
<?php if (!is_home() || is_single() || !is_page_template ( 'page_landing.php') ) { ?>
I switched it back. So the prob still persists.
then I tried<?php if (!is_home() || is_single() XOR !is_page_template ( 'page_landing.php')) { ?> and
<?php if (!is_home() || is_single() && !is_page_template ( 'page_landing.php')) { ?>no bueno. Not getting one of the variables right, but will continue to figure it out. finicky tags.
moneyfunkMemberyou made me realize I forgot to put the '.php' and the end of 'page_landing'. did the trick. 😉 thanks, Dave!

November 28, 2013 at 11:42 pm in reply to: Adding Banner image to Blog Page and other pages in MinimumPro #76120moneyfunkMemberI would like to know how to accomplish this, too.
Without using the easy backstretch plugin (because I removed the backstretch properties from the solution offered at the bottom of this form post)
moneyfunkMemberI just uploaded Outreach, too. Mobile responsive (I'm using an iphone).
Everything is good so far, until I open a blog post page (http://www.oatmealinmybowl.com/blog/coffee-date-where-you-be-christine/). And then its a wide layout.
Here is a photo screenshot: http://sdrv.ms/1aNfxot
How can I fix this?
I am using the Genesis Layout Extras so that the blog category page is sidebar/content/sidebar and then when you open the blog page it goes to content/sidebar. but i don't believe that is the issue.
Thank you.
moneyfunkMemberAh! you're quick. i ended up using the shortcode and hooking it at the genesis_after_post_content Hook
<?php if (is_single()) {?> [nrelate-related] <?php } ?>
then went into the nrelate settings and had to uncheck both
- Top of post (Automatic)
- Bottom of post (Automatic)
and it worked. 😀
moneyfunkMemberNev mind. figured it out! 😀 Yay!
moneyfunkMemberBrad - do you know how I would change the hook for nrelate? And thank you for your help. 🙂
moneyfunkMemberBrad - thank you very much for your help. And I will definitely use this reference when I have the time to add more to my blog.
But I may be wording it wrong - I am trying to break up a long post into multiple pages by using the  <!–nextpage–> tag. If you look after the nRelate content you will see it says, "Pages: 1, 2". I am looking to move that above the nRelate footer and the Add-Post-Footer content.

moneyfunkMemberbut it makes sense that it could be the theme, as it started happening after i installed it. browsing the internet, looks like its happened before to others.
I am switching to Synthesis on Monday.
We shall find out then, if the theme or the Host is to blame. 😉
moneyfunkMemberChris, my apologies.
I just figured out it is because I used a tag-to-category converter plugin for this page (http://www.oatmealinmybowl.com/category/smoothies-2/) to convert the tag 'smoothies'
I think that is the issue. Not the process of regenerating the plugins, etc...
moneyfunkMemberI realized later that I didn't have the <div="widget-wrap"> elements around the ( 'home-top' ). Then when i tried to updated in the home.php file...
I used this:
if ( is_active_sidebar( 'home-top' ) ) {
echo '<div id="widget-wrap">';
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-top' );
echo '</div>';
}it wrapped the 'widget-wrap' around each featured post(s) and not as a collective element.
Your .home solution worked w/out affecting any other elements. Going to play with the margins in a bit.
Thank you, Tony! I appreciate it.
