Thanks for all of the replies. Susan's link worked perfectly. Thanks a bunch!
nicholeMemberIn WordPress, under the install new plugins, do a search for "Widgetize pages Light". It lets you widgetize any pages with shortcode and is super easy to use.

After you purchase a theme, you get access to the resources section which has the generate theme sign-up box so if that's the only reason you like the theme, know you have the option to use it on another theme. Also check out Streamline, it has a email sign-up as well and has a very professional feel to it. http://my.studiopress.com/themes/streamline/
nicholeMemberThis one was done by Raven Tools who, if you're not familiar, produces great internet marketing tools. I use this plugin personally on my site and for a few clients because I know it will stay updated and with shortcodes it's so much easier than implementing it on your own.
nicholeMemberThere are two really cool menu plugins I've used on customer sites recently -
http://bit.ly/10R9SN3 - This one has vertical (sidebar) & horizontal menu options for sure. It's also responsive which is really nice.
http://bit.ly/Rh5XHG - This one is similar to the one above but I'm not completely sure if it can go in the sidebar
