Hey, thanks! I ended up getting it resolved. Needed to add the following code to the CSS:
@media (max-width:768px) { .content-sidebar-wrap { display: block; } }
nscaliceMemberHi I'm getting closer to a solution, but not there yet.
I found this article: https://sridharkatakam.com/post-authors-link-outside-the-loop-in-genesis/#comment-405623 which helps remove the meta info from single posts. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to get it to work on indexes/category archives as well.
nscaliceMemberSame problem here. Was it ever resolved?
January 29, 2016 at 6:57 am in reply to: Swapping "Front Page" widget area for another format #177816nscaliceMemberHi Victor, thanks, I understand that, but what I am referring to specifically is the area in the Digital Pro theme that pulls the latest blog posts onto the home page. I'd like to swap out the blog posts for other widgets, but since this area isn't set up like a normal widget area, I'm trying to figure how to do it.
If you look at the Digital Pro demo, you'll see the area I'm talking about on the homepage that pulls in the latest blog posts. It has the header of "Our Journal."
nscaliceMemberThanks Brad, that did it. 🙂
nscaliceMemberThanks again Moody. That was super simple to swap out. You rock!
nscaliceMemberAh, thank you so much Moody! That is super helpful. I wouldn't have thought the font would have an error like that, but yes, you're correct.
So, the next question is, what is the best and safest way to replace a font on a Genesis child theme? Just find and replace Neutron with another fond name in the CSS file or am I overlooking something?
nscaliceMemberThanks for the plugin recommendation. Has anyone used this specifically with Altitude Pro? Any issues there?
nscaliceMemberDid you ever get a solution for this? I am curious as well.
nscaliceMemberYup, it was caching. Thanks so much for the help!
nscaliceMemberThanks so much. That worked! 🙂
nscaliceMemberI tried that and it didn't work. Do you think it could be an issue with the cache as to why I didn't see a change after removing those lines?
nscaliceMemberBecky, when you say you "reset the width", what do you mean? Thanks.
nscaliceMemberHi, thanks for the quick replies @chillybin and @anitac! Is there an upside/downside to these two different methods? Which one is better to use?
January 17, 2014 at 10:39 am in reply to: Adding a Featured Image to Single Post? (Magazine Pro) #85632nscaliceMemberOh, interesting. Is there a benefit (SEO or otherwise) of doing it this way (inserting images into the post directly vs. using the Featured Image to pull it into the post)?
Regards,

(Magazine Pro) #85420nscaliceMemberHi, I got the image to show using this method outlined above, but now on the single post pages, the image links to itself. How do I remove this link? I just want the image to link to the post when viewing it from the home page or a category, but once someone is on the actual single post page, I don't want the image to link to anything.

I am new to Genesis, so when I'm in the WordPress dashboard, I cannot find the editor page where I can access the functions.php file. Do I need to access it through an FTP program?
