Awesome! Thank you! I bet that is it! I really appreciate your help @Anita! Thank you for taking the time to look into this for me.
pruningtogrowMemberIt still doesn't seem to be working. I cleared the cache and opened a private browser in safari. I appreciate your idea. Thank you for the suggestion. This has seriously wrecked my brain.
pruningtogrowMemberThank you for your response. It is on a Mac.
The transparent navbar does not happen in other browsers.
pruningtogrowMemberI know I always do this...but I figured it out. It was a font size issue. Thanks!
pruningtogrowMemberGot it working! Never mind! Thanks!
pruningtogrowMemberDid this issue ever become resolved? I would love to know the answer to this.
pruningtogrowMemberGot it to work. This can be marked as resolved. I added the rev slider shortcode to the after_header with Genesis Simple Hooks.
pruningtogrowMemberWhen I remove the padding-top from this location. The problem seems to be corrected:
<div id="front-page-1" class="front-page-1" style="padding-top: 72px;">However, I can't find where this style is being called. When I look in Firebug it is an element style.
pruningtogrowMemberThanks for your response emasai!
I'm actually looking to make the navigation/header background transparent similar to how it is in the demo but I would like to keep the nav menu background white after the user scrolls. Because I am using a plugin for the slider, then I am not using the customization of the background images as suggested in the theme setup tutorial which I believe is why the theme is not functioning in the same way.pruningtogrowMemberFigured it out. Nevermind. Thanks!
pruningtogrowMemberOh my word!!! I found it!! I am not sure why it was added but it was located in my Genesis Theme Settings, Header Scripts area.
pruningtogrowMemberThanks so much Victor! I'll check it out. I appreciate you letting me know that it isn't part of the theme. Do you think it's possible that even a disabled plugin could be causing the issue?
pruningtogrowMemberOk, thanks again for your help. I so appreciate it!
pruningtogrowMemberDo you mind if I ask what
font-size: 0;
achieves?pruningtogrowMemberAlso, I was planning on using a hamburger menu for smaller devices.
pruningtogrowMemberOh. My. Goodness.
I can't thank you enough. Thank you so much!!! This worked perfectly! Sorry, I missed this reply earlier.pruningtogrowMemberSo, this was indeed a plugin issue. It was related to the Sponsor's Carousel plugin. Just wanted to post an update in case anyone has this issue in the future.
pruningtogrowMemberAlso, I don't believe this is a plugin issue because everything was working correctly before the update.
pruningtogrowMemberThank you, friend! Just what I was looking for!
pruningtogrowMemberI can't figure it out. But I guess what I have will have to do for now. Apparently there's a lot of difficulty in making iframes responsive on the iPad and iPhone. If you find anything out thought, please let me know. Thanks for your help!
