Yep! I'm building a web site, not a blog. Need custom template feature and hierarchy of pages, and time of posting (for posts) is irrelevant.
Randal OultonMemberThe Featured Post widget is great, but it only does posts.
The Featured Page widget only does one single page, which you "hard select". Doesn't have a shadow of the robust features available in the Featured Posts widget.
I'd love it if the Featured Post widget let you select Posts or Pages (or both).
Randal OultonMemberYou're right, Ponting. Her whole business is gone even, it seems! Glad I didn't go with a freebie!
Randal OultonMemberhey everybody, over the course of 6 hours of searching, experimenting, reading, backtracking, the best I found for displaying subcategories as an actionable drop down choice is a plugin called "List Custom Taxonomy Widget" by Nick Halsey.
Randal OultonMemberHey Monica, personally I'm not so much into freebies, do you have any paid themes, couldn't find them on your site.....
Randal OultonMemberHi, I am encountering the exact same issue as arobe, Facebook is just selecting random irrelevant images. Of course, it needs to be told using Open Graph meta data what image to use (not that it always respects that, I am a veteran of such battles believe me!) Is there a Genesis plug for that, or, is there a plugin you would recommend, such as perhaps this one? http://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-open-graph-meta-in-wordpress/
Arobe, there's a facebook debug tool here which may tell you in advance what image it may grab from your page: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
