September 24, 2014 at 3:02 pm in reply to: one-fourth TOC text aligning right instead of left #125576riryreryMember
anyone?
riryreryMemberOkay, I managed to figure it out myself and the page is here: http://www.amblesideonline.org/studio/?page_id=165
But the links won't jump to the header, it jumps to just *below* the header. I would like users to be able to see the header as well. How can I fix this?
Here is a portion of what I have that includes the first bookmarked heading:
<div class="one-fourth alignright"> <h4>Contents</h4> <ul> <li><a href="#For Starters">For Starters</a></li> <li><a href="#Scientific Training">Scientific Training</a></li> <li><a href="#Nature Journaling">Nature Journaling</a></li> <li><a href="#Affecting The Whole Person">Affecting The Whole Person</a></li> <li><a href="#Special Studies">Special Studies</a></li> </ul> </div> <h3 id="For Starters">For starters</h3>
Any help would be appreciated!
March 31, 2014 at 1:47 am in reply to: permalinks give 404 error when anything other than default setting #97574riryreryMemberThis is what my host told me.
"I would suggest speaking with a web developer. The server is set up for url rewrites it just needs to be told what to do with the correct web coding."
This is the whole of what is in my .htaccess file right now:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /studio/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /studio/index.php [L]
</IfModule>I removed the ".txt" at the end of the filename. It is located in my http://www.amblesideonline.org/studio/ file
It is set to CHMOD 0644
My host insists the server is set up for url rewrites.
When I select Postname permalink structure - I still get this error:
If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn’t so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.
What am I missing?

http://www.amblesideonline.org/studio/Is this not the right place to post this question? Where would I post it to find support to get the Associate Theme postname permalinks to work?

March 14, 2014 at 4:17 am in reply to: permalinks give 404 error when anything other than default setting #94826riryreryMemberFYI - the only plugins I've added are Genesis Simple Edits and Simple Social Icons
February 4, 2013 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17983riryreryMemberThat was it:
#nav li li a:visited {
Not sure why that doesn't come up when I inspect the element via firebug.
Instead it shows me this:#nav li li a, #nav li li a:link {
Bothersome!
Thank you for your help 🙂 You've been a great help and I think we're all done!
February 3, 2013 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17692riryreryMemberIt isn't fixed. For me the text "Residential Fund" "Commercial Fund" "Trust Deeds/Mortgages Fund" and "Institutional" are all appearing in #1c7b87 (teal) when I hover over "Family of Funds". I want the colors on those to be #1c4587 (dark blue). The only time I want it to be the teal color is when my cursor is actually hovering on it or when I am on that page.
February 2, 2013 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17558riryreryMemberOkay, in the Genesis
wp_head
Hook I added the quotes:<link href="http://www.HoseheadMarketing.com/wp-content/themes/corporate/print.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print" />
Is that correct?
Also, something happened to the color of the text on the drop down nav and I'm unable to find where to change the color now.
Nav bar text should be color #1c4587. When hovered or active, it is #1c7b87
For some reason the drop down menu items are #1c7b87 all the time now. I tried changing it several places, but it remains the teal color. How can I change it to #1c4587 when it is not being hovered over or active?
February 2, 2013 at 10:59 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17553riryreryMemberForget that, I was missing a </div> tag.
Another question. At the top left of a printout page, there is in plaint text "Citivest Funds - Real Estate Investments-" and on the top right of the page it shows "http://hoseheadmarketing.com"
Is there anyway to remove those?
February 2, 2013 at 10:48 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17551riryreryMemberOkay, did all that and now only the logo shows, the rest of the page is missing?
February 2, 2013 at 8:25 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17510riryreryMemberThe logo is in position and prints now - wonderful!
I'm unable to have the text on the right side of the screen show up now. I'd like it aligned horizontally with the logo. Here's what I have in the widget:
<img src="http://HoseheadMarketing.com/wp-content/themes/corporate/images/logo.png" alt="Citivest Funds Real Estate Investments" > <div style="line-height: 28px; font-size=24px; font-family: Arial; color: #1c4587; font-weight: bold">The Citivest Family of<br>Real Estate Opportunities<br>
February 2, 2013 at 5:19 pm in reply to: Need help with print stylesheet and printing logo – can't get it to work #17476riryreryMemberThank you for your response Jennifer.
1. I updated the URL of the css file to: http://hoseheadmarketing.com/wp-content/themes/corporate/print.css
2. I added it to header right widget area, but it needs to be on the left side of the page where it resides now. My theme doesn't come with a header left widget area.
What next?
January 27, 2013 at 11:20 pm in reply to: How to exclude one nav bar image from inheriting padding #15523riryreryMemberThere used to be answers right away in the previous forum, I noticed it moved to a new forum - is there a lack of support with StudioPress now?
January 26, 2013 at 4:04 pm in reply to: How to exclude one nav bar image from inheriting padding #15121riryreryMemberAnyone? This seems like a simple CSS exclusion or something. Please help!
