Yes I have now updated as well and this did indeed solve the problem.
Thanks for your response.
rusticrickMemberOK Thanks for your help Andrea, I'll wait to hear back from you.
At least I can stop staring at CSS for a bit 🙂
rusticrickMemberThat's reassuring - I've been going mad thinking there's something small that I'm missing.
So I guess I need to wait for an update to fix the menus again. Or is there a code workaround I can use?
rusticrickMemberSorry I forgot about the plugin.
I have now disabled all plugins. I have the same problem on two fresh local installs which have no plugins activated.
I am using Chrome but have tested with safari and it's the same.
rusticrickMemberSorry, posted here as it seemed to be related to the thread. I will use a ticket next tie.
I have now restored the website to the out of the box code. No CSS class applied to neither the header nor primary menu.
The primary menu displays on the blog page but has the same issue as the header menu does on the homepage.

rusticrickMemberI'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly to configure the primary menu then. Regardless of whether I have it showing on the homepage or not, it doesn't align properly.
I have activated primary menu in genesis settings, imported demo content and used the primary menu provided. I am using genesis-nav-menu as the CSS class, should it be something else?
rusticrickMemberAndrea,
Can you explain to me how the primary menu on http://demo.studiopress.com/modern-portfolio/blog-1/ is configured please?
Perhaps then I can understand how to configure it on my homepage.
rusticrickMemberThanks,
I have been through the setup instructions and imported the demo content. The theme does have support for primary navigation, I have it activated but it doesn't align correctly is all.
The setup instruction say:
The primary and Secondary navigation theme locations areas are not used in the demo.
However, if you navigate to this page of the demo you can see the primary nav menu

rusticrickMemberanitac,
thanks for your response. That is the way that I have set the primary menu up but it still aligns vertically.
Do you know how they are set up in the demo? The notes say that locations for primary and secondary menus are not specified for the demo, but the primary menu shows on the blog page?
rusticrickMemberI now have the primary menu showing on all pages, but it aligns vertically rather than horizontally. I am using genesis-nav-menu as the CSS class, the same as the custom header menu. Is this correct?
My site is http://blackmirrors.co.uk/
rusticrickMemberForgot to post the link to my site earlier, here it is
rusticrickMemberI'm having the same problem as this. Both the header and primary navigation menus are aligned vertically.
If I remove
.genesis-nav-menu {
clear: both;
overflow: hidden;
}The list becomes bulleted and is still aligned vertically.
If I remove the 'clear:both' it solves the problem for the header menu, but not primary navigation. Furthermore the menu order is reversed, so contact shows first on the left and about is on the far right. This isn't so much of a problem as I can simply rearrange the menu order.
The CSS class that I am using for both is genesis-nav-menu, is this correct?
rusticrickMemberUnfortunately I am unable to at the moment as I am in the process of switching the live site to a WP setup. I will disable the menu for the time being and then come back once the site is live.
rusticrickMemberThanks for your reply.
Should it now work out of the box so to speak? I haven't made any changes to the header width; can you advise some changes to try to test if that is the problem?
rusticrickMemberThanks for the suggestions,
I will give it a go and let you know if I get stuck.
