The special effects are amazing. Geez I like that. First impression means a lot and you have sure captured that.
I don't know why but I think the logo is the only thing that needs to be better. The design is over-the-top professionally done but I think the logo looks cheap in my book. Don't get upset about this, I am just being brutally honest.

DerekMemberWow, excellent work.
Do you do customize work on genesis framework themes besides custom designs for it?
Just want to confirm this because I want to share your FB page on my fanpage. I really like your work and wanna help give it some love even if it means a few clicks to your page. I am getting offline for a few hours but will be back online soon.

DerekMemberWatermark image? I don't think that can be removed.
Check the documentations or ask for help through there support staff.

DerekMemberGo to your Genesis Settings page in your admin panel and make sure you have comments enabled in there as well.

DerekMemberSounds like this thread needs to be locked. A lot of people link dropping for no good reason in here.
Aricroy, you are not even using a genesis framework theme. This whole forum is for the Genesis Framework/StudioPress customers to get support on this framework.
If you use the YOAST SEO plugin then when you change the URL structure, the bad links that are in the search engine rankings and on other websites online will automatically get redirected to the URL structure. This plugin does this automatically.
For further support, post a question on the official WordPress support forum or your themes support forum. You are not even a StudioPress client.

DerekMemberStudiopress removed it from there lists of themes in the my studiopress page. When I login to my account since Pro Plus I see 87 themes I can download and use and all of them are up-to-date with the current WordPress and Genesis Framework standards. There is a link I click on that will show the themes that have been removed and unable to be purchased.
When they made this decision to not update it and basically gave up on the theme, they should of emailed existing clients who purchased this theme to give them a heads up or a bigger discount if they purchased a new theme within 48hours. That's how I'd handle that but I do not work for StudioPress and those decisions is up to the paid staff or just Brian himself. Use the contact form to speak to a paid staff member about this issue. You are not the only one who may run into this issue as well.
If you can't find a theme in the theme marketplace, There are other 3rd party developers who have themes created for the framework. Let's know the niche your blog is in and try to describe your dream theme. Perhaps we can give you some good suggestions to help you out. FYI, https://list.ly/list/ZLH-third-party-genesis-child-theme-sellers

DerekMemberThe freelance theme has been unsupported for 6 years now. Last time this theme was updated was on 11/15/10. I verified this as I'm a pro plus member. This could be 1 reason why your blog was hacked.
Code changes all the time both on WordPress version release's and Genesis Framework release's so not having updated theme is just bad. Considering WordPress and StudioPress have come a long way in regards to features/design/coding standards. Just get a new theme from the marketplace here. Trust me, all themes now showing in the marketplace will work well and have a ton more security.
Yes this will cost you money in having to purchase a new theme but if you login to your account on the homepage then search for a theme to purchase, you will get a discount on the theme as you are an existing customer. http://my.studiopress.com/themes/
I'd suggest you look into some wordPress security plugins as well for extra protection. Google Search WordFence for WordPress is one plugin but there are others out there.

DerekMemberHave you checked the setup guide again to see if you accidently clicked a setting off?

April 3, 2016 at 12:40 pm in reply to: First Steps from Newbie – How to Install Genesis Framework 2.1? #182800DerekMember@resweek9 I agree that you should create a separate thread because if you have further issues we can help you without having to reply to 3 different people on there problems.
I don't know where you getting your information from but as of today...2.2.7 is the latest version. The framework and installing a child theme is so easy and it's painless to do.
Once you purchase a theme, just follow the instructions/guides on how to do all of this. I did it myself years ago and if I ran into one issue, I emailed the staff and I had it fixed fast because they replied with detailed instructions.
Either myself or any other member on this forum will help you out but you need to start a thread right now.

DerekMemberAre you using this plugin by any chance? https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce/
If so, are you referring to the support on this particular plugin which is right now only on the support forum on there plugin page. To me, it looks like StudioPress staff created this plugin but I can be wrong. I'm wondering if you contact support through here about support questions related to this plugin will get you somewhere or will they send you somewhere else for help.
You never mentioned which plugin you are actually using so I'm thinking about something else no one else is thinking about. lol

DerekMemberJust to let you know 2 somewhat recent themes released on StudioPress.com for purchase are woocommerce ready. (3rd party themes but available for purchase through StudioPress)
Examples:
Genesis Developer is an excellent customizer and creates beautiful themes. I don't mean to promote your services but I'm a lurker weekly at your site. lol
I think all Genesis Framework theme designers should make there theme ecommerce ready and let's say if you want to use that feature, just put a checkmark on the box and bam, you follow steps to set up the site including the recommended plugins. Raise the theme price a little or something. This way we don't have to hire developers to do theme tweaks when we want to set up a shop that wasn't coded to be one.
Have a good day.

DerekMemberHere is the announcement of the copyblogger new design. http://www.copyblogger.com/welcome-new-copyblogger/
I don't think Rafal was part of this recent design. Here is the twitter announcement of new StudioPress.com design. https://twitter.com/studiopress/status/691718981447782400
For the thread creator, all the new StudioPress website designs that they custom create might never be turned into a WordPress theme. If you hire a developer for a custom design, you can have a design created for you that's original and fit's your needs. And no one will have your theme design because you own it.

DerekMemberDo you use Yoast SEO? I was thinking there should be a setting in the "post types" page to show this or not.

DerekMemberI've been a pro plus member for 2 years and glad I'll be grandfathered in. I always thought StudioPress should have a recurring fee here. The Pro Plus package is really for developers and they shouldn't have to worry about the recurring fee if they have new business every month.
The Pro Plus fee is worth every penny. I'm not a developer but I can see how the recurring fee is needed. Just think that new 3rd party themes will be added from time to time and those themes are just as beautiful as the StudioPress ones.

DerekMemberI had a lot of problems where I couldn't even write a blog post. I used a backup version from my webhost to the day before the upgrade and still using it.
I'll wait till the next update to update my blog. By then more of my plugins will hopefully get updates. I know it's none of the plugins but you never know.
~’;’~
DerekMemberI use wordfence security (free plugin) and of course my webhost has Sucuri free to us customers.
~’;’~
DerekMemberYou should email support this.

DerekMemberI'm with Cloudways. Moved there 1 week ago. I'm luving it so far.
