OK, thank you
SonjaHelgaMemberI did all it said, but have no idea how to add this to my css stylesheet.... is it a special code?
SonjaHelgaMemberOoops didn't see that one 🙂 ... thank you
SonjaHelgaMemberHi, thanks for this link, but his code adds it to the "Header, Right" ... and I have adjusted my theme to have a full banner. What I want to do is add the adsense 728X90 UNDERNEATH the header, on a line all by itself. Thank you for your help
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks! I shall do that
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks, do I have to add this code to the functions php as well as a new single.php
SonjaHelgaMemberThat explains it. Now I get it. How the structure works that is. Good Article!
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks for that... I will not really be doing a lot of changing of the themes. I like the Metro. The reason I want to remove the "Footer" from the post single pages, and the blog pages is because of Duplicate content. I was reading from one SEO article that your blog can be penalized if there is a lot of widget content, because it is duplicated on every blog page..... Made sense to me. On the other hand, I did want the home page to have this content....
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks Neil, it's on my reading/study list for today 🙂 My Genesis Learning weekend.
SonjaHelgaMemberNo, I never heard of jetpack. But, if it will help, I can look into it 🙂
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks for the tip and the links 🙂 ... maybe I am just impatient, because I could just go in and do any changes instantly. I do like the themes though, so I will hang in there and learn. Again, thanks for the tips!
SonjaHelgaMemberThank you very much for this. I couldn't get that to work, so maybe it doesn't work with all the child themes... but at least I have an idea what I am looking for!!
SonjaHelgaMemberThat is perfect, thank you
SonjaHelgaMemberps, not related to this but, just to say, I saw that in the showcase, many of the top widgets are sliders, but I have not figured that one out yet. They just look cool
SonjaHelgaMemberThe left and the right footer were working. I had problems with the middle one, the content not showing up.. But thanks to all of you it is resolved now... Thanks
SonjaHelgaMemberThanks everyone for your help.... I did try your idea David, and it works!!! Thanks,
SonjaHelgaMemberI tried about 4 different widgets, and none of the content shows up on the middle footer...
SonjaHelgaMemberOK, Finally, after hours of trial and lots of error I figured out what was happening. I installed a testing blog directory, and from there solved my problem.
I had my Enable accessibility mode ON, and for some reason, it messed everything up in the widgets department!
