TeresaParticipant
The footer did not go, but the rest of it is fixed.
If I can get that straightened out, it will be good to go.
Thank you, Andrea. I really appreciate your help.

TeresaParticipantI was able to create the Landing Page with the tutorial, but something is still wrong. The top navigation and the footer widgets are still there.
This is the page: http://www.centerforempoweredwomen.com/thank-you-and-welcome/
What did I do - or not do?
Thanks so much.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantThat's really weird because the image under Edit Media, it says the image is 1140 x 350. When I look at it in my graphics program, it shows as 1140 x 350. The settings under the Responsive Slider say 1140 x 350.
I copied and pasted the image from the site into my graphics editor and it shows 1024 x 314.
I have already uploaded the image at 114 x 350 twice, but I will do it again.
Is something somehow overriding any of the commands in the theme Editor?
Thanks.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantWhat about the Genesis 404 page plugin? You can find it here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-404-page/
I love it. Gives me control over what I want others to see - also gives me an opportunity to suggest the visitor opt in for any free reports, etc.
Just a thought.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantThanks, Andrea. I'm going to keep this for future reference.
Oddly enough, Robin picked up the original cry for help and offered a suggestion about the Grid Loop.
Adding a zero to the code fixed the problem.
So now I have 2 options 🙂
Thank you for you help.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantThat did it!
Thank you so much, Robin!
And I am now following you on Twitter (@teresabeeman)
I deeply appreciate your help. I can always count on this Forum to come through for me.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, The crew at Studiopress rocks!

TeresaParticipantHi Andrea,
I uploaded the signature graphic as a .png. Then at the end of the post, I just click on Add Media and choose the signature,
Attachment Display settings are Alignment: Left, Link to None, Full size: 107 x 39 then Insert into Post.
That's it.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantI'll try that.
Thanks.
TeresaParticipantThanks. I'll try that.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantAlready did! 🙂
I'm just glad I am tech savvy enough to know how to ftp. Lots of people who have blogs don't know how to do that and it just makes it harder on them when they need to fix something.
But I think you're right about the core files. If that ever happens again, I think I'll just do that first.
By the way, I went to WordPress.org and did a fresh download of the newest version of WordPress. So the files I extracted and uploaded were from the fresh download.
Thanks again. You were a tremendous help.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantDoak, you are a genius!
First, yes, it was happening on different browsers - 2 different computers, 4 different browsers, so I was pretty sure it was something in WP.
I followed your instructions for replacing the wp-admin and wp-includes. Everything is now working properly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I can get back to work.
You can now consider this issue resolved.
Teresa 🙂
TeresaParticipantWhen I did that, I got this message: Call to undefined function gltw_api_config() in /home/centerfo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/genesis-latest-tweets/genesis-twitter-widget.php on line 52
I tried to go to Installed Plugins to deactivate that plugin, but it won't let me. It stays on that error page.
Next I tried to go back to the Themes and it won't let me do that either.
NOTE: Removed the Genesis Twitter Widget via Filezilla.
Activated Twenty-Twelve theme. Problem remains so it is not theme-specific.
TeresaParticipantYes, I did. Dashboard --> Updates --> Reinstall Now. It still looks the same.
TeresaParticipantFirst step taken - Went to Dashboard, clicked Updates. I am sorry to report that didn't help.
It still looks just like it did in the screenshot.
Any other ideas? I really appreciate the help.
Thanks.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantI think I have managed to resolve this myself.
Thanks.
TeresaParticipantThanks! I'll check into those.
If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them, too.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantGee, no. I didn't. Where exactly would I put it?
In the widget itself? Inside the .php file?
Thanks.
Teresa
TeresaParticipantI uploaded to size specifications - 500 x 260. The strange thing was that when I went into Media, the image wasn't there, even though it said the upload had been successful.
Reinstalling WordPress didn't help. I still got the same message.
I really, really want to use Metric for this site, so I'm going to keep working on it. But if anyone else has any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.
Thanks for the suggestions.
