November 17, 2013 at 2:04 pm in reply to: Custom Front Page (in ANY theme) and Yoast SEO Plug-in Issues #73746tnorthcuttMemberI may be asking a question with an obvious answer, but why do you want the base url included in the sitemap?

November 17, 2013 at 1:20 pm in reply to: [bug] Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference #73666tnorthcuttMemberThis post on Stack Overflow has some more information that might be of interest to you. Basically, the
&
beforeget_term
shouldn't be there. It's not something you particularly need to be worried about (it shouldn't break anything on a production site), but I'll file an issue with the Genesis core team to get it cleaned up.

tnorthcuttMemberIt looks like you're using Yoast's SEO plugin, so I'd suggest doing it in the settings there. Here's a screenshot that should show how to do so:
Does that answer your question?

November 17, 2013 at 12:48 pm in reply to: how to Insert Revenue sharing Adsense Plugin for Single post #73612tnorthcuttMemberYou might want to clarify your question a bit. Is there a particular plugin you're trying to use, and you want it active only on single posts? If so, can you tell us what plugin, and specifically what you've tried so far?

November 17, 2013 at 12:45 pm in reply to: Remove html title attribute (title tag) from post titles #73604tnorthcuttMemberHi,
You actually need to filter genesis_post_title_output I believe. You'll need to use a regex to find the
title="...."
text and remove it. You should be able to adapt Gary Jones' code here. Instead ofgenesis_nav_items
, you'd do e.g.add_filter( 'genesis_post_title_output', 'your_function_name' );
, then the same code he has in that function.Does that make sense?

tnorthcuttMemberJoseph,
I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do, but honestly it sounds like you're probably much better off not using the Genesis framework. I think you'll create much more work for yourself if you try to not use Genesis' hook structure than if you just used a "conventional" theme and used a child theme to modify it. Does that make sense?
