UmpquaWebParticipant
That looks great! I will keep it in mind.
UmpquaWebParticipantGot it resolved. It was in the front-page.php from when I re-ordered the widgets.
UmpquaWebParticipantI see that now, but how did it get there? I thought maybe it was the result of repositioning the widgets, but when I go back into front-page.php nothing I do makes a difference. Even putting the original code back in doesn't change anything. It's the only place I've done anything with HTML that I know of. Everything else has been done in css. Oh wait, when I entered the aWeber code into the eNews widget, I added a </div> at the end of the hidden section, as instructed in a video I watched. Another video didn't show picking that up in the code, so I removed it. Doesn't seem to make a difference either way.
I did manage to position the cta the way I want it by finagling things, but if the extra </div> is the issue, I would really like to get it resolved. Maybe doing so will resolve the other issue(s) I have later in the page.
UmpquaWebParticipantI have three text widgets in the home-features widget area and they were lined up side-by-side.
Then I swapped home-features and home-portfolio and now the text widgets are not lined up. If I look in Firebug, it looks like the second and third text widgets got separated from the first text widget??
UmpquaWebParticipantOh, thank you Victor!
UmpquaWebParticipantOMG. Thank you so much!
UmpquaWebParticipantSpecifically, it's the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget that is cutting the image height from 380 to 250.
I ended up using a larger image and setting the size in WordPress and now it's not cropping. Go figure.
UmpquaWebParticipantHow would I have done that? I only had one image: 315x380px. How did it get cropped?
The Visual Editor seems to be cutting it off.
UmpquaWebParticipantI cleared the cache in WP Super Cache and it is loading the new header...
UmpquaWebParticipantI spoke too soon. It goes back and forth. One time (pulling up the site) it shows the new header and the next it shows the old header.
UmpquaWebParticipantI went into Chrome, deactivated the header and reactivated it. I can see the new header now.
UmpquaWebParticipantSo that replaced the avatar with the logo ... I removed the radius which removed the "circle" effect. Thanks.
UmpquaWebParticipantI had already tried that, but it doesn't work...it does in Firebug, but not when I change it in the style.css
I'm thinking the Design Settings somehow take precedence.
UmpquaWebParticipantGenesis/Design Settings/ Wrap (content area).
UmpquaWebParticipantI looked at it in FF and in Chrome and the header looks fine to me.
UmpquaWebParticipantWell, after spending all afternoon on it, I did locate the code to make most of the changes. But I decided to work with it instead of against it.
UmpquaWebParticipantWell, I decided to make a tileable image and tile it. I'm not real good at it, but it's better than the results I was getting.
UmpquaWebParticipantYes, it is what I did already. That's how I get the magnified image. (I didn't use the fixed, I used scroll, but then the image is shorter than the page).
Take a look.
And actually, the image does not take up the whole preview area.
Wait a minute...is it remotely possible that I need to update Genesis?
Nope, updating had no effect.
UmpquaWebParticipantIt looks fine, but the real question is how you uploaded it.
UmpquaWebParticipantIt is 1703 x 1127 but only 720 kb
