I got it now. Thank you for your kind help!
venkatsMemberThanks for the info on the pasting the code. it helps.
some how i am not able to change this color of the vertical line. i have tried changing
from
#nav li a, #nav li.home a { background: url(images/nav-line.png) ; }
to
#nav li a, #nav li.home a { background: #fff; }
But it didn't help. looks i didn't get it right.
venkatsMemberremoved 'important' word as suggested, though couldn't understand the diff. but that's fine.
Trying to get rid (or edit) of vertical black line between the menu items, but not able to narrow down to that code. will appreciate your help.
venkatsMemberHi Jen,
Instead of
background
:
transparent
!important
;
i tried
background
:
transparent
important
;
Just removed the "!" before important and it is better, though i lost green hover all together by making transparent.
Thanks again.
venkatsMemberThanks Jen.
I tried your suggestion and found that green hover color is completely gone, not just the home button. And i liked the green color for hover. Transparent is giving other problems with the menu is visited.
But i know where to edit now. Thanks again.
venkatsMemberYes, nice looking site. design, color combinations ..every thing looks perfect. Excellent job.
venkatsMemberrealized that i haven't edited 'home.php', but only functions.php while adding these 3 extra widgets (home bottom 1-3). I have followed one WP/studio press article on creating extra widgets.
Do you think this is the issue ? kindly advice.
venkatsMemberHi Anitac,
I dont think, i have copied the footer code, but 'home middle' part of the code in 'functions.php' as below.
After copying, i have renamed 'home middle --> home bottom"
==========
genesis_register_sidebar( array(
'id' => 'home-bottom-1',
'name' => __( 'Home Bottom #1', 'enterprise' ),
'description' => __( 'This is home bottom #1 section.', 'enterprise' ),
) );
genesis_register_sidebar( array(
'id' => 'home-bottom-2',
'name' => __( 'Home Bottom #2', 'enterprise' ),
'description' => __( 'This is home bottom #2 section.', 'enterprise' ),
) );
genesis_register_sidebar( array(
'id' => 'home-bottom-3',
'name' => __( 'Home Bottom #3', 'enterprise' ),
'description' => __( 'This is home bottom #3 section.', 'enterprise' ),
) );add_action( 'genesis_after_content_sidebar_wrap', 'child_after_content_ad_sidebar' );
/** Loads a new sidebar after the content */
function child_after_content_ad_sidebar() {echo '<div class="home-bottom-1">';
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-bottom-1' );
echo '</div>';echo '<div class="home-bottom-2">';
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-bottom-2' );
echo '</div>';echo '<div class="home-bottom-3">';
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-bottom-3' );
echo '</div>';===========

Yes, i have posted it separately as that post includes 3 queries and i didn't get any replies. Recollecting the policy to post separate thread for each unique issue, i have posted again separately.
As you have replied in the old post, i am fine to delete / mark as resolved. Can some one do it for me, as i dont have permissions for the same.
Thanks,
venkatsMemberforgot to mention, i am using enterprise theme.
venkatsMemberi googled what padding means and different corners. And adjusted the values. It got fixed now.
Thanks for your quick inputs, anithac. it helped.
venkatsMemberThanks Anitac. That helped. however third one is going down.

padding: 30px 30px 0 0;
width: 280px;
}.home-bottom-3 {
