There's not anything you can do for background images. CSS doesn't support it. You can either edit the images in PhotoShop to darken them or create an overlay in a pseudo element like the div's before. Editing the image is the easiest.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorBecause of the old practice of keyword stuffing, search engines ignore meta keywords these days. They have no intrinsic value. Relevant keywords in titles and content are what the search engines look for.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 11, 2017 at 7:19 am in reply to: My (favicon) image won't load into my site identity after clicking "Select" #199183Victor FontModeratorSite Identity is a WordPress feature, not Genesis. Whenever you have a problem with anything in the admin area, you can usually trace it to a plugin conflict of jQuery error. You need to go through the standard WordPress troubleshooting steps to help determine the root cause.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorWhat you see in demos and what you can place in widget areas are two different things. Many of the newer themes use flexible widget areas, which means that the widgets adjust their display depending on the number of widgets installed. This page from the Altitude Pro setup has a good explanation of flexible widgets: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/altitude-pro-theme/front-page-setup/front-page-layout-configurations/
There are also several other ways to tackle what you want to accomplish with Studio Press themes. The volunteers on this site are happy to help.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 11, 2017 at 5:08 am in reply to: Alternatives for using "tables" to display program modules #199175Victor FontModeratorSince we can't see your site, how are we to understand the function of modules and sub-modules? Are these your equivalent to menus and sub-menus? If they are displayed in tables now, does that mean they are text and able to be indexed by Google? If you you switch to images, you'll lose some SEO value.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe header area in Outreach Pro is 1140px wide with a minimum height of 110px. This means the height will automatically expand as you add content. To change the width, add max-width: 1160px to .site-header .wrap at line 1040 in style.css.
If you are talking about the header image for a banner type logo, this is different process. This will point you in the right direction: https://victorfont.com/change-logo-size-in-genesis-themes/
