StudioPress Community Forums Rules
Rule #1

Please do not send the Admins or Moderators an email or private message (PM) asking for support. Due to the overwhelming volume of emails and PM's received, using those methods will actually increase your wait time.

Some Moderators and Recommended Designers offer off-site support. The included support with your StudioPress purchase is limited to support posts on the forums - please be aware that you will incur additional fees from the developer or moderator for PM, email, and off-site support.

Rule #2

Please be considerate to one another, and also to the StudioPress team. This is our way of providing support to those who are using our StudioPress themes, and we're happy to do it.

We will attempt to answer your questions as soon as possible, but there are times when it may take up to 24 hours for a response. Some questions may take several days to be responded to simply because the question asked may not be easy to answer and we leave it for other Members to review, so someone with the experience can answer it {this is rare}.

Rule #3

Remember that this is a support forum, and that we are here to help you diagnose things that may be wrong with your site, or if there are any bugs in the code.

If you ask questions about customization, be aware that we might suggest you hire someone to help you. We'll do our best to answer those questions that don't require major modification and testing, but our priority lies with people having immediate issues with the themes.

Rule #4

Spamming is not allowed and anything that resembles it will result in automatic deletion of your account and banning from the forum.

Rule #5

Please refrain from using derogatory or vulgar language - this is designed to be a friendly resource to theme users, and not a place where people are insulted.

Although the administrators and moderators of StudioPress will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of StudioPress, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

StudioPress reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason and ban any Member who they deem in violation of these rules.

Rule #6

This forum was developed to support all of the StudioPress themes - please do not ask us any question regarding other themes. Moreover, if you haven't purchased Theme/Support package or a Pro Plus membership, do not ask questions pertaining to the StudioPress themes in the General Discussion forum. We will delete those posts.

Rule #7

Do not make multiple posts regarding the same question/problem.

Rule #8

Do not post several questions in one post. Please follow our "one question, one thread" policy.

This makes it easier for others to find solutions using the Search function.

Rule #9

Do make the post title informative and relevant to the subject matter.

Avoid generalized titles such as "Please help", "I have some questions..", etc, which do not help other users find answers to their problems.

Rule #10

Info you should provide when making a post...

  1. Your question or problem
  2. Your WordPress version
  3. Your Theme version
  4. Link to your site
(It's much easier to diagnose something when we can see it. If you are developing on a local server, post a screenshot to show the problem.)
