I'm working on a test site for a client (http://myra.newseasondesign.com) and put 3 footer widgets in for her. They're each placed in a separate widget area. However, I'm only seeing footer-widgets-1, and all 3 of the widgets are in there. Any idea why? I'm using the Focus theme if that helps.http://myra.newseasondesign.com
All three footers are there... but you are using Pinterest and Facebook and Instagram widgets in each footer area that do not look like they play nicely with Genesis.
I've never used those widgets but it seems to me there is just too much content in each footer area so that they "lop over" each other. I don't know how to fix it... but perhaps there are settings in the widgets you are using.
Perhaps someone with experience with these plugins can help.
The strange part though is that in Firebug, only the first widget was showing in the code. And all of the widgets are IN that one (which they really aren't in the dashboard).
What's really weird is I swapped the position of the 1st and 3rd widgets, and now they're all showing up. Gotta love WordPress!
I was here looking for answers to this very question. I tried to populate Footer #3 first. When I put the widget into Footer #1 they all opened and I could put the information I wanted in them. http://joyrossdavis.com
