Please give me some feedback on a website I built on the Education theme… I believe the responsiveness is correct (what is strange is that my Iphone display of the site looks different than the studiopress/responsive tool used to display it).
Thanks!

March 20, 2013 at 11:31 am #29733I’ve had the same happen. The test site seems to just give you smaller screens rather than how it actually looks on the device. Especially with images that don’t scale on the phone, but scale on the test site.
Your site looks really good. Having the 2 widgets in the widget 2 area make the whole section really tall. I thought you had 4 widgets there and something was off, until I looked at it more closely.
I also like the first excerpt with the featured image but the others don’t have images. Maybe you’re just testing stuff out?
I like slider-pro but it seems to be having an issue with 1 or 2 of the slides.
Nice header image….scales nice when I shrink my screen.

March 22, 2013 at 4:31 pm #30577Thanks for your feedback and the client has to fix a few of those slides but otherwise I’m happy to hear it scaled good… I will admit the Responsive design can be a bit challenging when I don’t feel like I can fully test it accurately.
Thank you again!

April 24, 2013 at 5:37 pm #37485Computerkitten any advice you can give me on getting the header image to scale. The site i’m working on is sandbox.multifamilypartner.com and I can not for the life of me get this thing to be responsive.
Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

April 25, 2013 at 8:35 pm #37765The easiest way I’ve found since this post is to use Nick’s plugin for responsive header…where you upload different headers depending on the device! Let me know if you can’t find that plugin….it wasn’t at wordpress.org. I did a google search for it. Its Nick the Geek and its on his website.
Thanks,
CK
