    How do you add a background image that will be behind the text content of a page?

    Any background image should be behind the text. :) Look up “CSS background-image”.

    Best,

    I have found that type of code..
    I meant to say as a per page type of instance. A different image on each page.

    This code would only apply to site wide I believe..
    background-image: url(images/pozadina.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: left 100px;
    background-attachment: fixed;

    Is there a way via html to do the same thing via per page?

    Sure, you could apply the background image to body.page-id-6 for example.
