    I have attempted to used Firebug, and performed a raw search for colors in the style.css file  but I can’t seem to find the colors associated with the menu bar (below image) and the footer. Both are black. Can someone please tell me where I can change the colors for these 2 items? I also want to change the grey background in the footer area.

    Thanks

    The menu bar is an image file: (images/nav.png)

    #nav {
    	background: url(images/nav.png);
    	border-top: 1px solid #333;
    	clear: both;
    	color: #fff;
    	font-family: 'Droid Sans', arial, serif;
    	font-size: 12px;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	width: 960px;
    }

    And the footer is also an image:

    #footer {
    	background: url(images/nav.png);
    	clear: both;
    	font-size: 12px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	padding: 10px 0;
    	width: 960px;

    Thanks. After talking to another WP contact I was told the same thing.

    I was led astray by the response from the support group… use Firebug to change colors…
    So I wasted a ton of time on this small thing.

    Thanks again
