    Helo
    I would like to change the size, the height of the image from the header from 120 to 200.
    I have read another thread, answered by “antic” who explain how to change it.
    The problem I have is that I cant find anything called “custom header” nor a value of 120 in the functions.php.
    Can anybody help me and indicate me were I can find this to change the header Image size.
    Thank you in advance

    1. Line 23 of your child themes functions.php file includes this code.

    Please change the value for the height:
    [php]
    /** Add support for custom header */
    add_theme_support( ‘genesis-custom-header’, array( ‘width’ => 960, ‘height’ => 200 ) );
    [/php]

    Simply change the value from 120 to 200 as i have done so in the code above.

    2. You may also need to change the height values in your child thees style.css file:

    Line 168:
    [css]
    #header {
    color: #fff;
    margin: 0 auto;
    min-height: 200px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px #222;
    width: 960px;
    }
    [/css]

    And Line 224
    [css]
    .header-image #title-area,
    .header-image #title,
    .header-image #title a {
    display: block;
    float: left;
    height: 200px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 350px;
    }
    [/css]

    Please paste this CSS code at the end of your child themes style.css file.

    Hello braddalton
    Thank you for your answer.
    I have changed it now and it works.
    The problem was that I have searched in the functions.php of the wp-includes and not in the child theme function.php
    I am new in this mater
    Thank you.

    No need to ever edit code in Genesis. All modifications should be done in the child theme
