my site has 2 pages with columns, using the column css from Genesis Frameworks. This site was started by someone else, who did the basic site prep work, I'm adding the content. I did have the 2 columns working, but something I did yesterday messed that up, and I have no idea where to look. I still have the same set-up in the html for the div tags. The pages are the home page and http://mingwellnessacademy.com/instructor-bios.php. I was finessing the spacing when suddenly the columns went to inline rather than next to each other.
On a related note, can you tell my why the columns are set up in Frameworks to be so precise, as in .one-fourth {

width: 23.076923076923077%; rather than one-fourth being an even 23%? Does changing all the numbers to a more rounded off number make a difference, as long as it adds up?February 22, 2015 at 1:48 pm #141782Victor FontModeratorYour div tags are unbalanced. I am assuming you want each instructor in his/her own column. if so the first column is class="one-third first", the second and third are both class="one-third". You have the second class as one-third.second. That won't work. And you are missing the starting div tag for the third column.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?February 22, 2015 at 1:55 pm #141784janburgMemberWell, the columns should be unbalanced, I only want the first two to be side by side, the other two instructors would be underneath the top two columns. The first column contains more content, so that is set up as two-thirds, and the second column would only be one-third.
Do i need first and last in there?
February 23, 2015 at 6:29 am #141851Victor FontModeratorYou need the first. For the two columns, it would be class="two-thirds first" and class="one-third". You still have an unbalanced div though. You have an ending div without a starting div tag just above the comment that says end column classes.

But something is blocking all divs from doing what they are supposed to do. On the home page, there are divs to add a color background behind the table elements, but those are now not showing up. I'm guessing it may be something in the style sheet but I have no clue what....
