    I would like to know how to create custom bullet points

    This website: http://www.fourseasonsplumbingsewer.com/ has an example of this.

    I’m referring to the orange check marks that are used.

    I know I need to alter the CSS, I just don’t know how, thanks.

    On the website you’ve linked to, the bullet is actually an image. Depending on where you would like to have the bullet point (page, or post?), look for   li {   in your CSS, and then add something like this (just an example):
    [css]
    li {
    background-image: url("images/orange_checkmark.gif");
    [/css]

    You could need to modify the URL depending on what you call your image, and may need to make further styling.
